Greetings. I am a college instructor who teaches public speaking, film, and religious studies. I wanted to get a tattoo that expressed my dedication to the 1st Amendment. I am not a theologian, but a historian of religions, and my area of expertise is the Medieval Church. So, my tattoo artist and I came up with this design. I think it effectively demonstrates freedom of expression, speech, and religion. And, I wanted to share it with you. May you be blessed by his Noodly Appendage!

Artist Trading Cards are little pieces of art, 3.5 by 2.5 inches. They are only traded, never sold. The ones in the photo were created by my swap buddies for my Dear Husband,Tom (in the photo). They came from all over the US and several other countries, from paper artist, painters, fiber artists, sketch artists, collage artists…

The framed ATCs were a gift for DH who spreads the word of the pastafarians and loved reading the letters that came with the ATCs. This project brought out a few folks who were familiar and many who were touched by his noodley goodness for the first time.

Back in May in the closing days of school, the Astronomy teacher at our school, aka Johnson, had his final for his class be to paint a ceiling tile of different galaxies, constellations, or anything Astronomical. Myself, who already took the class but had Johnson for 3 other hours, decided to paint one also. But i wouldnt be painting any stars, oh no… I found it necessary to paint the Almighty FSM.

After starting my project, my friend Slabcock said he would help also. I diligently worked on my portrait while the other students in the school were taking their writing finals.

With blood, sweat, and tears, it finally came around. It was directly put on display. Everyone was in awe of His Noodleiness. Johnson loved it also, and I put it smack dab in the middle of the room. On it had one simple message…

So for the years to come, He will be overlooking all and will be there for any inspiration.

I was in need of caressing by his noodliness when this happened to show up in my mailbox. I now feel his presence when I worship him at Olive Garden.

I recently got my driver’s license and bought my first car. Obviously the next step was getting the car registered, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that WWFSMD was available as a vanity plate! I quickly doled out the extra cash it would cost to have the plate, inspite of my parents objections to the fact that “no one would know what it means.” I say that doesn’t matter, other Pastafarians will. Apparently there aren’t many around my small town, I wonder how many Pastafarians will be in the city I’m going to for college?

I was recently ordering new checks (who uses checks anymore?) when I noticed that my bank and most check places only had christian-related or lame spiritually-related checks available for order. This annoyed me and after some contemplation I had a eureka moment, though I’m inclined to think that I was nudged into this by his noodly appendage from above! So I grabbed an image from the most holiest of sites on his noodly web and went to the nearest custom checks facility on the web, i.e. the first one that came up in Google. The result is this marvelous creation which I’ve included for your enjoyment!

It turns out that the largest team on Kiva is the Atheist, Agnostics, and Skeptics group with over 4900 members and nearly $740k in loans. Holy shit.

Not unlike a spy, I infiltrated their team covertly, and left them this message in an attempt to recruit some of those Godless heathens to our team:

Dear Atheists, Agnostics, Freethinkers, etc:

It’s not too late to Believe in something!

I know you have trouble Believing in a Higher Power – we all have these doubts from time to time. You just need to have Faith.

Once not too long ago, I was like you all – Lost, with no direction or hope. Then I had a Vision and He changed my life. I am talking of course of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Let me ask you something: After a large meal of Pasta, do you feel more at peace? Scientists will confirm that after such a meal, endorphins and other “brain chemicals” are firing overtime. His Noodlyness at work!

I know many of you are academics and base your decisions on observation; before joining our Church, you’ll need a flawless argument. Consider this: the Flying Spaghetti Monster alters our perception of reality such that we can’t see or measure His influence. Thus, lack of observable evidence of His existence is, itself, evidence of His existence. After all, what else but an all powerful God could manage such a feat as this.

Kiva is a non-profit micro-lending institution primarily for the developing world. Typical loan requests are like, $1000 for some cows in Vietnam, or $1500 to open a shop in Cambodia. You choose which of the loans appeal to you, and donate a small amount, usually $25. When the loan is fully funded, 100% of the funds go to the borrower. They pay it back over time without interest. The money comes back to your account and you can take it or loan it out again (I suspect most of us re-loan).

Team FSM has so far provided more than 2100 micro-loans.

I ordered the gospel of the flying spaghetti monster and sent the glorious word to a minimum security federal prison in Yankton SD. As a token of gratitude one the the guys spent 2 months in his cell crocheting this blanket glorifying the FSM. I put my guitar next to it for a perspective of size. Who says ex-cons can’t be a productive member of our society!?!?!

The holy flying spaghetti monster took control over my body for the last 3 days with one mission: to spread the word!

If I consider the over 100 times he explained the only true religion to the lost souls, the 50 people who touched his holy noodle and convert to pastafarians and the strange but very powerful attraction of his eyes, I would say the mission was successful.

Oh, before I forget: he say hi to everyone!
