badges

Just wanted to let you know, while i was out and about at the Rundle St markets yesterday, in Adelaide, Australia, i stumbled across a pair of lovely wenches sharing badges – and to my great amazement and joy, among the throng of treasures was a badge displaying the symbol of the great and mighty FSM Himself.

Naturally i had to buy it, and when i approached one of the wenches she, recognising me as a fellow Pastafarian, greated me warmly and drew several other devotional badges to my attention.

It’s just so good to know that wherever we are, a fellow Pastafarian is not far away.

fsm spotted in wine glass

Published October 30th, 2008 by Bobby Henderson

fsmwine.jpg

I was sitting out last weekend enjoying a nice glass of wine when I looked into the reflection of my glass and noticed an image of His Noodly Appendage staring back at me. I think you can make it out but it becomes so much clearer when you zoom in. I’m glad I could catch this on photo so that we can all share in his glory.

Protein resembles FSM

Published September 19th, 2008 by Bobby Henderson

fsmprotein.jpg

I was viewing a Website for my biology course when I had this holy experience.

www.umass.edu/molvis/[...]/chapter.htm

The ribbon model of the example protein (View five) Looks EXACTLY like His Noodlyness.

Recently, I have been doubting my faith in the FSM. I take this as a sign that he is still with me. I have never felt more touched than I do now.

Watermelon

Published September 16th, 2008 by Bobby Henderson

Pastafarian Steve sent me these photos:

The fsm appeared to me in my watermelon earlier this year. This is conclusive proof that pirates eat watermelon in order to fly.

-Steve

Steve, I disagree with your conclusions. But as this is a matter of religion, the burden is on me to disprove your claim. Well done.

Spotted by Carver at my Alma mater, Oregon State University:

My favorite thing about this is the spelling of “Toched”. I didn’t say it was a good school, just that I went there. Go Beavers.

BBC endorses the FSM

Published September 8th, 2008 by Bobby Henderson

Yesterday afternoon I spotted the FSM on the BBC during Mister Maker on Cbeebies.

Good to see His Noodliness being planted firmly into the minds of the young.

I have discovered clear evidence of his noodley appearance departing from a campfire site next to a lake in Finland.

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American.
