Greetings! Very helpful advice within this post!
It’s the little changes that produce the largest changes.
Thanks for sharing!
There is certainly a lot to learn about this topic. I love
all the points you made.
I recently saw an article in the British newspaper, The Daily Star (page 15, Sat. 14 May 2016). It reads:
“Watching porn regularly makes you more religious.People who view it more than once a week tend to be more interested in God than those who do so only occasionally. They also pray more, the study at Oklahoma State University found.”
Which explains why visitors such as Bane and Religious Cyclops tend to be such w*nk*rs.
Rasputin, what an interesting statistic. Perhaps the indicator used is the number of times they say: ‘Oh my god!’
There is Mediaeval porn involving demons performing hardcore acts on women. It was considered perfectly acceptable to look at such material, provided one gasped in horror, cursed Satan and prayed for protection. Similarly, frothing bishops would fervently pray, as they closely observed naked women, accused of witchcraft, being searched for ‘marks of Satan’. Sick puppies.
… many studies carelessly reverse cause and effect. It seems more likely that religious people are more attracted to porn, providing excuses such as: ‘enduring temptation’ or, ‘finding sinners to pray for’. Nuns are famous for secretly writing erotic letters to Jesus.
Rasputin, curious, I Googled ‘religious porn’ images. I can see why the Pope rejected Da Vinci’s initial sketch for the Last Supper.
Rasputin, if the researchers used eight groups, they may well have established causality. Also, they may well have demonstrated an interaction effect, where, when both factors are present to begin with, there is an enhanced increase of both.
Personally, I think that fundies’ characters are unattractive to women. With no girl-friends, all they’ve got left is porn. In other words, there is another factor: women’s rating of male attractiveness. This would explain why fundies bash their Bible and blame women for their problem.
Like Gloria Gaynor, the UK has come out (of the EU).
Everyone loves it whenever people come together and share
thoughts. Great blog, stick with it!
