Please see the attached picture of the FSM guitar I built. It debuted at the Center For Inquiry Indiana annual picnic. I have wanted to build this for three years and finally got it done. The guitar is a very playable instrument (but only while standing up). My friend, retired medical illustrator Craig Gosling (photo left) did the sketch for the body shape. I constructed the guitar and Eric Ward did the paint.
Steve Duerr

It’s made of pure awesomium!
Praise our noodly lord with fast-strumming rock-hard riffs, matey!
It’s gorgeous 8D I’m sure his noodliness much appreciates such devotion.
Wow!!! Cool!
What would Eric Ward charge to paint a drum kit to match your hallowed guitar?!?!?!?!? I feel I MUST do it now!!!!! <if ya know what I mean
Pirate Johnson,
You could contact Eric at his website http://www.indyairbrush.com. His shop is in Speedway, Indiana.
He told me he appreciated the challenge of painting this guitar, he hadn’t done anything like it before.
Now I need to come up with some rocking sea shantys to play on it!
I’m wondering if the eye balls argh flat or bumped out? I would put my eyestalks as the tom mounting arms. I could have him upside down & put a meat ball pattern on my tom’s resonance headss. I wouldn’t mind just having a big sticker on the base, but it could NEVER compare to this AWSOME devotional. Steve Duer is truely touched. Steve Moore plays drums with the arms of noodlieness. He needs converted.
Just noticed the AWSOME color patern on all his other parts. I REALLY wanna hear it played!!!!!
I have a YouTube video where I play it briefly Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3rcc9hU0wg
Please share with us some of the songs that have been played on it!
Quick! We must write songs in honor of his noodlieness, and play them on this truly righteous guitar!
I’m stunned! Most Noodleworthy!
