    Bobby,

Will you have it printed commercially, preferably in a soft faux leatherette cover (in brilliant scarlet), with a red ribbon, that we can thump for the Witnesses et al?

    Bobby,

PS My home printed copy will do for now, but it just looks like a business report.

PPS Make page 4 be a blank page so that “The Old Pastament” title shows up on the right on an odd numbered page.

      Never mind!

  4. Joe says:

THIS WORK IS A HOAX, IT IS NOT THE INSPIRED WORDS OF THE FSM. ALL WHO QUOTE IT WILL BE STRICKEN FROM ACCESS TO THE WEBSITE AND THE BENEFITS OF HIS NOODLY TOUCH!!

    • DaveL says:

Oh no, what about those of us who actually wrote it? :-)

    • Ubi Dubium says:

It is definitely not a hoax. For it is written (Piraticus 13:7) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was “Arrrgh!”. How can you get any truer than that? I didn’t write that bit, but I did write some of the other bits, and I felt pretty full of inspiration at the time. Or at least full of Pasta, and that’s close enough.

  5. Snegenad says:

Will it be for sale as a book somewhere? The Gospel was nice, I bought and read it, but this feels more like a bible-spoof! (which I expected to see more of in the Gospel)

    • Ham Nox says:

      Maybe someday… For now, it’s just print-your-own-copies.

      • Ham Nox says:

Which is considerably more difficult than I thought it would be, because it can’t be edited to put in blank pages to keep the new chapters on odd pages X-P

        Ah well… Off to Alphagraphics!

        • 12thDishIple says:

Y don’t you just download it and edit it using some PDF editing software.

        • ADoS says:

Here’s an alternative. You know how, when you print something, it lets you select a range of pages? Only print the pages up to where you want the extra blank page to be, then start again from that point on a fresh page, so it’s lined up the way you want. It’s more work, but it’s the best way I can think of.

    • VinZ says:

It’s the other way round; the bible is a Loose Canon-spoof

  6. Mr Cooper (allhailfsm) says:

I’m a bit late posting this but about a week or two before this was publishes i started writing something simaler (yes i cant spell an i dont care) I finished the first draft and three tales for my course work and was going to upload what i had done, bit too late now.

    • Ham Nox says:

No actually, if you go to the Discussion Forum you can post it there for possible inclusion in the 2nd edition!

The Loose Canon will always be in a continual state of revision, so as to never get old and stuffy and irrelevant to modern issues :-)

      • Mr Cooper (allhailfsm) says:

i did diagrams and stuff for it ? any chance they might get put in?

        • Qwertyuiopasd says:

Certainly. The only pictures in the First Edition are the cover page and Bobby’s artistic representation from the Open Letter, but we’d be excited to have more diagrams and graphs (the more graphs, the more science), or illustrations of the historic events.

      • Gordon_UK says:

Why not every other region does it!!

        • Mr Cooper (all hail FSM) says:

but they don’t have pirates or gordon the gopher or tommy cooper
          just like that!

      • Mr Cooper (allhailfsm) says:

unlike certain other religious texts. thats rught i’m talking about the hungry catapiller.

  7. Lyn Kazin says:

I think You have problem with images on Chrome. BTW, like your post

    • edd says:

What kind of problems, Lyn? I use chrome and can see everything fine.

  8. Alcoholism says:

Alcoholism has little to do with what kind of alcohol one drinks, how long one has been drinking, or even exactly how much alcohol one consumes. …
