Every year about this time, mysterious strangers hang multiple Orange FSM ornaments on our cedar trees.

(Unenlightened) scientists would have us believe these noodly orbs are Ceder-Apple rust on Eastern Red Cedars. You can decide for yourselves.

This site is frustrating because these “pastafarians” just use this mock religion to bash on everyone else’s beliefs. there are pieces in the Bible that seem absurd… talking animals, reanimated corpses, the ground opening up and swallowing people, etc. but nothing that takes THIS great a leap in logic. God isn’t a “bearded man on a cloud” He’s the creative force in this universe. hell isn’t a place where you can “chill with friends, but boy is it hot in here”… hell is a place reserved for Satan, and the people who he deceives into following him there. don’t take all this as “shoving my religion down your throat” take it as a clarification of some misunderstandings some pastafarians seem to have about Christianity. the obvious point behind this website is to say “hey you believe in God without proof, well we believe in noodles, and since they already exist, that counts as proof”… well basically, it’s not proof people should look for in spirituality… it’s doctrine. pastafarian doctrine is an obvious farce. the Bible has integrity. where all these other “religious books” fall short, the Bible stands firm. you guys couldn’t even come up with an original name… it had to be ripped off from the Rastafarians… give the Bible a try, an honest try.

A a recent convert and passionate fly fisherman I would like to share my humble tribute to His Noodliness.
I am a devotees of The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, if for no other reason than His brilliant insight that global warming, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters are a direct result of the shrinking number of Pirates since the 1800s. We are proud to dedicate our regular Correlation of the week to this observation, and on my recent trip to Tonga, He showed me that He is pleased with our work.
On walking through a cemetery in the Tongan capital Nuku’alofa, I spotted the following dedication to His Noodliness. Whilst Christianity is by far the major religion in Tonga, there seems to be evidence that the FSM church is working with both Christianity and the traditional culture, and growing in the South Pacific – the very place that global warming and rising sea-levels will have the biggest effect, and therefore the greatest need for pirates.
Then during the night I awoke and managed to snap this quick photo as He appeared to me from our fale roof. You can clearly see His glory shining through.

Just a word of thanks to pastafarians who have contributed comments on the various hate mailers. All of these are helping enlighten me and, frankly, reverse the brainwashing that I still suffer (only very slightly — and diminishing every day) as someone raised in a catholic home. These comments are so clear, focused and logical that the religious case withers. I sincerely appreciate the time you’ve spent to take apart their hate mails piece-by-piece. Not that you are being altruistic; religion inspires such lapses of reason and simple logic in people (not to mention fomenting sheer venom) that the hate mails are quite enjoyable to behold and presumably to take apart.

The FSM was spotted on Reddit’s newest poster. I’ve been a fan of Reddit for years. I don’t want to know how many hours I’ve lost to that site.
The FSM has made himself shown in an image in a heathen “christian” church in NYC.
His Holy Noodles can be seen lovingly touching all earthlings, providing gravity to the unworthy.
