You are the most sick

Published February 4th, 2010 by Bobby Henderson

You are the most sick, fucked up, twisted, inbreed, stupid son of a fucking whore bitch I have ever seen in my entire life. You need to seek mental help. I think you have smoked to much crack and done to much acid. Although you do have a right to religion, BUT, your religion is not recognized by the government simply because it is purely fucking stupidity. You will burn in fucking hell the rest of your god damn life you piece of shit fucking inbreed fuck!

Cody [xxxxxxx]
[xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx] College

Note – As a rule, I don’t post the identities of the hate-mailers but this guy was all for it — “Please do because my peers are on level with me on how fucking stupid you non sense bull shit is.”

Fair enough.

Update 2/4 – I found another message Cody sent me on Facebook:

Wow dude you have to be one of the gayest fucking faggots in the world. FSM is not a religion. Get off you lazy ass, wash your pits and bum hole you stinky fucking acid dropping hippie. And quit fucking your sister and the goats you kidnap so you can stop filling the world with smelly fucking hippie retards like yourself. have a nice day:)
[Cody]

I was not disappointed by Cody’s facebook page [Link Removed *]. An excerpt,

I’ve made great achievements and done many great things with my life and traveled the world. I can’t fit all my awards, achievements, and credentials on all four walls of my room. I dont mean to brag but with all that under my belt, who wouldn’t. I enjoy helping people and changing lives. I guess I seem to worry about others before I do myself. But thats another thing for God to look upon for me.

Update 2/5 – I woke up to find a pile of emails from Cody. Most angry and threatening. Legal threats, mainly. Let me just say this, to Cody: If you send a screaming rant to a stranger, be aware they have the right to publish those rants. I didn’t pluck your nonsense messages out of the ether, you sent them to me. I’m well within my rights to post those messages for the world to see.

However, in amongst those emails I found an apology, so I believe there is some humanity in Cody, and I do have some pity. I have no wish to publicly out him for the intolerant things he said. For that reason, I’m going to anonymize his last name and remove the name of his school. The post will remain but his identity will be obscured for his own protection.

Internet, perhaps you can give Cody another chance.

Update 2/5, 7pm – Wow, I’ve received a lot of emails about this post. I’ll see if I can answer some questions.

First, let me add some more messages from Cody. I assume he sent this one after he saw this post:

Hell no. Do you realize how much trouble you can be in for using my name on a website like you have or publicly identifying me?
[Cody]

And then:

A complaint has been filed with the Federal Trade Commission on your violation of internet privacy laws.
[Cody]

And then after that:

So I just found out that youre a french fucking jew. Thats why you live on an island because youre a coward. Thats what french are known for pussy ass cowards.
[Cody]

Ok, some answers. I don’t know whether Cody knows I removed his last name and school from his messages, and I don’t think it matters.

I post hate-mails mainly because it’s of interest and relevant to the Pastafarian community. And a lot of us are entertained by them.

I generally don’t post the full identify of the hate-mailers. I don’t think it accomplishes much. When I do, it’s often because they’ve told me to do it.

Inevitably after that, they demand their message be removed, and usually there’s a legal threat of some type. Legal threats don’t bother me, but something else does – this belief that the world owes it to them to look the other way.

I want to say this to the hate-mailers: You’re not anonymous. When you attack us with hate and threats, we have the right to tell the world. We don’t have to protect your identity, we don’t owe you a thing. When we grant you mercy, when we hide your identity because you are rightly ashamed of what you’ve said, it’s a respect that you haven’t earned; it’s just an act of mercy. As to your wrongly assumed right to privacy, maybe an analogy will help: If I see you kicking a dog on the street and tell the world, your reputation will likely be injured by that information becoming public, your livelihood may face serious consequences. But understand this: your act was the cause.

I guess that’s all. Oh, regarding his last message – I’m neither French nor Jewish, but I do live on an island, not that it matters.

This is a big argument started by religion; hard to see how virtually every war in history was started isn’t it?

I thought you only get there AFTER death? I mean, I’m not an expert but I’m pretty sure about that part…

      Brother cody, may his Noodlenes have mercy on his sauce, was probably trying to say earth is hell and that we will stay here till we earn the right to die and ascend to heaven, as explained in revelations where jesus comes down like a thief in the night to take his soul to paradise, leaving us behind, maybe one day he will stop following his blind path and join our blind path, now let us pray;

Our saucer which art in a colander, draining be Your noodles. Thy noodle come, Thy meatballness be done on earth, as it is meaty in heaven. Give us this day our daily sauce, and forgive us our lack of piracy, as we pirate and smuggle against those who lack piracy with us. And lead us not into vegetarianism, but deliver us from non-red meat sauce. For thine is the colander, the noodle, and the sauce, forever and ever. R’Amen

Most people seem unable to express their anger or hatred without expletives. It’s quite sad.

I just think that it is funny how all these religious people (regardless of religion) simply can not grasp the factual reality that their religion and belief in god(s) has absolutely no more evidence or reality than FSM does. There is absolutely no factual contention that can be attributed to any other god that can’t be just as easily attributed to FSM and vice versa. The only factual difference is that more people choose to believe this or that myth as opposed to other myths, but when it comes to tangible empirical evidence, all the myths are exactly the same and any claim that can be made for one can be made for all.

Interesting bit about the ‘not recognised by the state’ bit there in the original post, Cody.

I am dual faith, I follow my ancestors Heathen faith alongside that of the Flying (Norse) Spaghetti Monster (Heretical, I know! But hey, what’s one more god in a cast of hundreds!!). Until the 1970′s Heathenism (or Asatru as it’s often known) was not recognised as an official faith in any country. Now it is a state faith in all the Scandinavian countries with lobbies in many European countries to the same effect.

Lets all dream of the day, my pasta friends…our time will come…

i am a firm beleiver in christ and the holy spirit. this misguided person is not, simply because of this post. he may have read the bible, but he clearly didnt understand the values we are supposed to hold dear. things like, rid yourself of false pride, dont boast about what/how much good you did. in the bible somewhere it has a passage. it has a pharisee going up the steps of the synagogue and thanking god that he isnt a sinner like that there tax collector. the tax collector however isnt even looking up and is almost falling on his face asking for mercy and forgiveness. who, looking at this, is in the right? i absolutely LOATHE bigoted religious fanatics. (not hate. hate is without reason.)

    • Drained and Washed Clean says:

You cannot claim that you have a better understanding of what the interpretation of the bible should be. When did god come down and tell you that you are right? He can justify what he is saying and the way he is speaking to us through scripture. Since your god has not come down out of the sky and told the world how to interpret the bible, you have to accept all interpretations or you can’t claim any of you are right.

    • Atsap Revol says:

      Dear That Guy Says,

Bigoted religious fanatics such as yourself? I agree with D&WC in the following post. You are clearly one of the religious fanatics who profess to know the definitive “Way, Truth, and Light. Do you and Fred Phelps speak with God daily? Or is it an e-mail connection? Either way, we all envy your close rapport with the Almighty.

Cory – is that you, Jesus?

  8. Ellie says:

    Bobby,

I dont understand, how Cody can justify that level of rudeness. So maybe he doesnt believe in FSM, (tbh i think everyone reaslises or at least should realise that it was purely to make a point – which i am all FOR i hasten to add.)

I think its very hypocritical of Cody to use language such as “faggot” – which isnt allowed in todays society, also “jew” – reference in a derrogetarry term to another religion. So Cody is allowed his view – but you arent allowed your views – and recieve that level of abuse for them ?

I hate what religion has done to this world, in my oppionion religion is the biggest flaw and issue in todays society and i wish that it didnt exist. It has started so many wars. I wish people would just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

Furthermore, i think unless the governement agree to teach about every single religion in relation to the beginning of the world and every idea related to it – then they should stick to the proven SCIENTIFIC facts – after all we learn about the big bang in science class- dont we ? The lack of mentioning to other religious ideas such as hinduism, muslim, buddhism, etc and focusing on chrisianity is very hypocritical in todays society, it is also greatly unfair. America and the Uk are multi cultlural societies – this means in schools that MORE religions need to be explored and more ideas need to be explored in relation to the creation of the world. Surely, there isnt enough time to learn all the different ideas ? No. There isnt. The creation of the world via the big bang is a proven fact, so lets not fill the minds of todays younger generation with ideologies that could potentially be complete and utter crap.

I think that FSM is making a point – thank you. Someone needed to do it.

    Ellie.

    • Pasta says:

Making a point is all well and good, but it’s already been done – check out Russell’s teapot or the Invisible Pink Unicorn. Unfortunately, it’s a point that doesn’t go a long way before being drowned in self-righteous blabber, often on *both* sides. It just always comes down to hardline [insert religion]s and hardline atheists trolling each other with the same predictable routines.

Pastafarianism, on the other hand, along with religions like Discordianism, or the Church of the Sub-Genius, can serve a better purpose if taken at face value, no matter how ridiculous it sounds. They provide an entirely different *attitude* toward faith – not too serious, not too dramatic, and without any of the other religions’ political baggage. We still get to have holidays, religious salutes, ceremonial garments, even strange hand gestures – it’s a real religion, fair and square. So why not use it as such, and show that, indeed, not all religions are bad; and some, like ours, are even *good*?

On a different note, don’t be too overzealous in defending what passes as “science” nowadays. For the prophet Bobby Henderson was wise, and covered that as well, in the Gospel.

You see, the *scientific method* is simple enough – gather data, create a theory, do some controlled tests, see the results. Repeat as needed. Also, most theories are periodically re-tested with more modern equipment, to see how the new results add up.

This works for evlution theory, for not only do we have evidence (not “proof” ) of incremental changes in the past, but we can also do some long-term testing – that’s what genetics is all about, right?

On the other hand, we have things like the rather popular “Anthropogenic Global Warming” theory, which followed a somewhat different method: create a theory, cherry-pick some data, draw a scary graph, and have Al Gore make a movie about it. Done and done! No tests. No thorough consideration of alternative theories. Just a forced “scientific consensus” , as if science is a matter of personal opinion.

So in that regard, the “science” of the correlation-equals-causation argument is just as valid for CO2, as it is for, say, Global Warming Stopping Pirates.

      ***

In short, it’s not about what side of the religion-vs-science debate we take, but what our *attitude* toward them is. Endlessly repeating “science says so” is no better than “god says so” . It just means you’ve read an encyclopaedia instead of a bible.

On the other hand, if you respond, respectively, with “what tests were conducted”, and “well my god says otherwise”, you indeed are on the path to enlightenment.

      • Pasta says:

        Short Version:

        1. Using an entire religion just to make a point is a waste of good religion.

        2. Getting zealous about science is just as bad as getting zealous about religion, because science isn’t about getting zealous.

        3. Just do some thinking for yourself, dude. Them books ain’t gonna replace that.
