Brilliant! I’ve been looking for stuff like this. I was wondering what the FSM calls Christmas. I thought it might be something more along the lines of ‘Merry Ramenmas’ but ‘ChriFSmas’ is great too! :)

How does an atheist celebrate ChriFSmas anyway?

    Suz,

According to the guide to the holidays, as found in “The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, “HOLIDAY encompasses pretty much all of the big commercial holidays celebrated by the other religions. Holiday stretches over most of December and January, and it is interesting to consider how much this Pastafarian religion has spread over the last couple of years. In fact, many schools and businesses refer not to the “Christmas season,” but to the Pastafarian “Holiday season” instead.”

    @ 1 – Suz – ,

During the holidays at this time of year, there’s a natural non-theological event called the winter solstice that can be celebrated as the days start to get longer.

    Hi Sue

In fact the religious people moved Christmas from the summer months to try and kill off the winter solstice celebrations to aid conversion.

It’s handy to know when people call me a hypocrite for celebrating Christmas, I simply explain that I’m not celebrating Christmas but the winter solstice! I also enjoy telling them it’s something we have been doing in Britain longer then Christianity has existed!

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
