I understand your weak attempt

Published November 20th, 2009 by Bobby Henderson

Bobby, I understand your weak, (though somewhat humorous) attempt to draw parallel between your alleged FSM and the true Creator, fortunately your doubt does not negate nor prevent His existence.

There is a Bible verse which states that the fervent prayer of a righteous man (one who has chosen to believe in forgiveness and accept eternal life) avails much.

Since you evidently do not believe in the Creator you should have no issue with my prayer for you.

Perhaps He will see that it will require a ‘hitting bottom’ before your mind, soul and ‘heart’ as they say, is open to the possibility and awareness that eternity without this Creator, whom is love, will be an horrible reality.

You are allowed to make your decision either way, but I’m hoping your ears & eyes will be opened to the realization that this 3-dimensional physical apparent reality is so much less than that of the realm of the Living Spirit.

May He be exalted in you, also, and may you find Life.

Bobby, expect the unexpected.

It is a sad day when we of different faiths can’t stand together and be joyful in our beliefs. The FSM created EVEYONE including non believers. They too will one day feel the overwhelming realisation when touched by his loving noodly appendage. May his balls shine before you and his ragu fill your mouth.

Dan. I understand your weak attempt to deffend your religion. However you overlooked something. You accused our religion of being weak, but it HAS been acknowledged that our god has bigger balls then yours.

I dont know if this has been said already (im not gonna read all the comments!) but I wouldnt really call this hate mail. The guy seems to be genuinely pitying this sites creator for his lack of belief.

  4. Keith says:

Well, the heading says “hate mail (and concerned criticism)” presumably if it is not the former it is the latter. Mind you, saying “expect the unexpected” at the conclusion could b construed as a veiled threat.

Has anyone realized that there is a children’s song and book ridiculing The Great FSM. I think “On Top Of Spaghetti” should be banned from libraries and schools, because his noodliness would never be so careless with his meatballs!

I prefer to expect the expected

When people do ‘hit bottom’, as you bizarrely term it, it isn’t really a great advert for your religion, is it? When people are at their lowest ebb they’ll believe anything and do anything, ‘cos they’ve tried everything else. Whilst helping people who are down is a great thing, doing it because you get something out of it (ie, another convert, Hallelujah!) is wrong.

Just help people for helping’s sake, man. It’s a great deal more philanthropic than having ulterior motives such as forcing a belief on someone.

“There is a Bible verse which states that the fervent prayer of a righteous man (one who has chosen to believe in forgiveness and accept eternal life) avails much.” ok…your played the prayer card…isn’t your god omnipitent? so prayer does what? it sure doesn’t change his mind or affect the out come of a situation or the guy in the sky wouldn’t be very omnipitnet would he?? One set of hands working accomlishes infinitly more then a 1000 sets of hands clasped in prayer…but don’t take my word for it…try it….and quit wasing your time wishing to god you will get laid tonight…i’m sure he has many bigger propems to worry about….like proving to science he does exists….

      Prayer:

      “Dear god,

Your divine plan doesn’t fit with my selfish desires. Change it.”
