your movement is pointless

Published July 7th, 2009 by Bobby Henderson

Do you really think you’ll get your point across by creating a fake religion?

The reason why Mythology is taught in schools is to enrich our knowledge of cultures that existed way before your ancestors were born. There’s a similar reason as to why religion is taught, those who don’t believe in it, can just go along and learn the views that people had hundreds of years ago, again it enriches them by showing them why others believe.

I find that the church of The FSM is a big joke, no it wasn’t found such a long time ago, you dweebs, I can’t believe there were people who actually considered believing that. Did you, for one second, think that MAYBE just MAYBE your insulting a large group of people out there, that they will be deeply hurt because of your sick ingorance towards basic facts.

And what’s up with the website? Dude, do you not have a life? Shouldn’t you be studying if you’re in college, at least.

I”m not going to say that you’re in my prayers and that crap, because you aren’t, and all those people who said you were in their prayers lied to you, because they probably forgot all about it when they navigated from the page, that’s the type of impact you’re making on the world.

Well, what can I say, it IS your time to waste. Have fun, if it makes you happy.

hmmm…. stela, maybe… just maybe you are insulting a large group of people with this close-minded attitude you have about our god. Even though you may not have the same love and forgiveness in your soul as we do, I will still pray that He wraps his Noodly Appendage around you and infuses your mind and soul with the knowledge of all that is noodly.

    R’Amen Stela! R’Amen

cant remember to whom im responding to but……

All religion is fake you idiot. thousands of years ago when people were being eaten by tigers and had no idea whether or not they were going to survive the winter, they needed some bs to make life not suck so much. So a bunch of old guys came up with the story that “lifes hard but in the end gods with you” so that people wouldn’t want to kill themselves. Then as civilizations began to advance, the same old guys realized they could spread there feel good story to more idiots desperate to know why their crops died, or why the black plague killed everyone they knew. Every early civilization had its own story to control its people. The Chinese had the mandate of heaven, and everyone else had there own thing.
The Catholics were pissed off that there stupid religion wasn’t as entertaining as the others so they killed thousands of people “in the name of god” and scared the shit out of everyone else so that they’d get more attention. And from then on the catholic church has been corrupting, manipulating everything so its stays in power.

Everyone is entitled to believe in what they want just dont imposed it on other people or argue that ur shit is better than the rest cause its not.

If there was a god, the mess in Haiti prob wouldn’t have happened

Problems with teaching religions in schools even if they are intended in the way stela said:
-1: Religions tend to be very diverse in and of themselves. There are many different types of Christians. Many different kinds of Buddhists. Too many.
-2: There is no need! (especially due to overzealous Christians like you, Stela) If someone wants to learn about a religion, they can learn it in the normal place of worship of that religion very easily and be “enriched” that way. The only thing that having it in schools would do is force students to have to go through it.
-3: There will be obvious religious bias as to who can teach these classes.

  4. FSM supporter says:

Hahahaha Stela you really made my day. You find the FSM church a big joke, thats exactly how i feel about religion being taught as science in schools. My dear Stela, we were given free will and we are expressing it, if people take offence, then it sucks for them.

    R’Amen

I didn’t respect the myth of the Roman/Greek/Egyptian gods, it was all moronic – as you Christians who ignored the Garlic reckoning did. I am just here to spread the word of the great straining of men’s souls, meaning that dinner time is almost nigh!

then this should be really thaught in schools, but in the full way, not in the way these idiots say, because ppl this is no a true religion, is a parody religion, and we are just “playing”, because this could teach all the kids how easy a religion can be created and stablished, and indeed how it was done, and how stupid it can be

  7. danfanclub says:

wait, how can cultures have existed before our ancestors? That’s like spaghetti existing before humans…

i loved reading your excellent collection of hate mail. i’m beginning to get ideas about starting a blog just to start my own collection. the best laughs can be found among the most humorless ones of all: religious zealots. and everything flies over their head, like your flying spaghetti monster.

“Do you really think you’ll get your point across by creating a fake religion?” and such. priceless, priceless.
