We were visiting a waterfall and a flash flood came out of nowhere.

Update 7/4 – we heard that the bodies of both guys were found downstream. Still have not seen anything in the news about this, I am wondering why.
His holy noodleness was protecting you with his noodelly appendage that day. Hope those fellows are OK. Just another example of why we need to follow the Pastafarian way. A good pirate would have seen the signs like you did Bobby. Continue to be our holy prophet and stay safe.
I just hope the Noodly One wrapped a Noodly Appendage around each guy to prevent them from being washed way.

This is also a problem in the canyonlands of utah. If you are in a arroyo or chute and it rains miles away.. you don’t even know anything is up until a wave of water comes rushing down. people die quite often this way.
I don’t think those guys are going to make it. after a while the water drains out your body heat and you can’t stay awake.
