Painting by Joey Stephenson; Russellville, Alabama.
I like it a lot. Maybe we should have some sort of art contest – what do you guys think?

His eyes are a little red, is he noticing the lack of pirates?

I like the eyes – is this Him creating the Earth while he was intoxicated? (Inebriated Design, hehe)

Although there are some Fathers of the Pastafarian Church that deplored iconodulia and embraced the Iconoclasm Movement, we have to insist that depictions of Our Noodly Lord are not only permissible but very much needed in order to proof our beliefs.

I am thinking about prizes. I say first place wins a gospel and a shirt-of-choice, with two runners up getting to choose either a gospel or a shirt-of-choice. I am one of those people who needed to experience the current economic woes before I rediscovered our lord. In other words, I currently cannot afford a gospel, but I will gladly try to win one.

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
