Doubt my veracity? I awoke from a dream-like state and found I had been touched by His Noodly Appendage on my left (natch) leg.

uh… isnt his right leg? I looked up natch, cause I had never heard that word before, and none of the definitions seem to be, “The opposite of what I said” (although it was quite humorous that one of the defs. was “Slutty Dirty Skanky Whore”).
Happily FSM accepts all, including the dyslexic.

It was painful. Walked with a limp for about a month. Second day after getting it I went to the doctor in a rush because my ankle had turned to a cankle and I was worried about infection.
The doctor looked at the ankle and foot, looked at the tat and said simply and casually, “trauma.”.
Hurt like hell but I love it.

Very nice.
Erm if you copy the picture into paint and flip it horizontally, it looks like his left leg? It also makes it look more like the wallpaper of ‘Touched’, whereas in the above photo His Noodliness and the man are on opposite sides to the wallpaper (or banner at the top of the website).
Well yeah great stuff anyway.

I think there needs to be a more simple design for FSMians-Her invisibleness has a really cool unicorn circle thing that her followers have tatooed onto the back of their necks.
A mission no less! And, I don’t know how to use this American phrase, but “props for the tat.” Is that right?
I’ll go check wikipedia US/UK translator.

What?! What am I not seeing wrong here? That IS his left leg!–and wedding bands go on LEFT hands! What’s the prob with people who think that’s not Joseph’s left leg and hand? Has the picture been flipped since they posted?
(And “natch” is short for “naturally”)
(And for those who don’t know what “natch” means, “prob” is short for “problem”)
The real question here is: Is that a Les Paul guitar in the lower left of the bottom photo?! (OUR left…)

You should get some kind of life-time supply of something as a reward. Ramen noodles? Or, you should get some kind of special FSM title for this that only people such has yourself, who permanently mark themselves with His image, get. Someone should at least buy you a beer.

I think this is a brilliant demonstration of how people want to believe in something supernatural so badly for comfort and reassurance that they will base their entire lives on a book written by men with no plausible evidence whatsoever. Not only will they follow, but they will also “know” that everyone else must believe in what they have found. When really all they have found…is a collection of poems and short stories to offer advice and entertainment written by men…not “god.” I think that this “religion” is a perfect way to bring that illogical thinking to light. Maybe some people who read this will realize how they have been brainwashed their whole lives to do what other men tell them in fear of supernatural punishment or whatever it is that makes them behave the way they do in the name of “god.” I don’t care what others believe, I just know how silly and sometimes dangerous it can be to be so blinded. I grew up christian…I am now agnostic. It’s the only thing that makes any logical sense to me. Hell…I don’t know what or who’s out there, and I’m sure not going to follow what someone else thinks is…because no one knows…there is no way to know. So…good job Flying Spaghetti Monster…nicely done.

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
