Double-blind prayer experiments by real-life scientists (the ones who made your PC) reveal that subjects only improve when they know they’re being prayed for, the ones who weren’t told didn’t get better, therefore prayer must be a placebo effect or a noodly appendage, supporting the common belief that the Lord’s Prayer is an adaptation of a mantra from some other philosophy, in which one should look into one’s self rather than to an external source for the answers you long for. Furthermore, for it to work you have to be somewhat fucked in the first place, which we’re not.
Go on, do some research before devoting your life to it, it’s okay to ask questions, no doubt you’ll just be forgiven anyway.
