My 7yo son and I love your site! We enjoyed it so much that he decided to be the FSM for Halloween this year.

Just wanted to share with you a pic or two of the cool pirate costume our Jack-o-Lantern decided to wear this year. I think he must be concerned about global warming.

Fab, those are too funny!!! My kids dressed up as pirates this year (to spread the good news), and maybe next year we’ll do a full FSM theme! ;)

p.s. to give credit where credit is due, the first two were carved by blogger Saganist, and originally posted here.

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
