I was inspired to paint this after indulging in large amounts of seafood linguine and beer for sacrament.

Michelangelo would be absolutely appalled. Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel out of deep love for the One True God, and here you are continuing your ever deepening blasphemy. The world will end soon, The prophecies are nigh, and Christ comes quickly. Yes it is true that when you see this you will laugh and say “The christian says the end is near, what rubbish. Life will go like normal just as it always has. Poor soul!” But as it was in the day of Noah so shall it be in the day of the Son of Man. People will still be marrying and having kids, and cursing God and enjoying life’s pleasures. But then it will all end. God will come when you don’t expect Him, in an hour when you are not prepared. So when your watching TV tomorrow just think this (if you be not a fool) if Christ came back today, what would i do? Or will you just sit there thinking “there is no God, the christians are mad, What kind of fool worships the Living God” But even as you think these things He comes, and when you don’t expect Him. He who testifies to these things says “Behold, I come like a their! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him that he be not shamefully expose” May the Lord Jesus rule over Gods people forever Amen!

Christian (#13) – Michalangelo was very possibly gay (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelangelo#Sexuality). Is he burning in hell now if he was? Despite his ‘love for the lord’? Are you sure he wasn’t painting for the sake of his art, or the comission he recieved from the Pope for the work?

Our friend the not-very-xian christian must be foaming at the mouth by now. He’s even trying to sound medieval – *if you be not a fool*. He’s gonna be awfully disappointed if the world doesn’t end when Obama gets elected.
Oh, and by the way, buddy, Michelangelo was not working for love, he was working for money, and he was compensated very well. When Michelangelo worked on the Laurentian Library in Florence, he was on a monthly salary from Pope Clement VII that equaled about $600,000 a year. That’s not bad for an artist.

Christian – please go away and rid this site of your babbling stupidity. The world is not coming to an end, nor has it ever, nor will it ever until the sun becomes a planetary nova some 5 billion years from now. Poor, poor you….you’ll still be sitting around when your 90 spouting the same old crap that christ is coming. And guess what??? He STILL WON’T be here! I feel so sorry for people like you who live their entire lives chained to one monotonous idea.

Try asking yourself WWFSMD? for a change!

Dude. Shut the hell up. You say we have no lives and we’re all bad people for believing in the Flying Spaghetti Monster (All Hail His Noodliness) and yet you keep coming back to our website, our sacred place of self-discovery with our Lord, and mock us. I don’t go to churches and insult people, so for the love of the Flying Speghetti Monster, just shut the fuck up, and get the fuck out.

I told you you would mock me when you heard this. Christ is coming. You can yell you can scream and you can shout like a child that He isn’t real, but it still won’t stop it from happening. Also, Michelangelo wasn’t gay, and the fact that he was well paid doesn’t mean he didn’t do it out of love of the LORD God. As to me speaking “medieval”, Old English was a much more poetic language, and therefore far more useful in invoking the powerful emotions employed by the writer. Just ask any shakespear expert. May the Lord Jesus rule over God’s people forever Amen.

The compliments of this amazing painting have turned into attacks against an ignorant raving christian! Fellow Pastafarians, do not stoop to their level! Lucky you’re painting is excellent and groovy! Pastarfarians, keep your minds and keyboards on the excellent and groovy parts of life, not on the opinions of a silly christian!

Christ is not coming. You can yell, you can scream, you can shout like a child, but I promise it is not happening. Don’t worry, no one is trying to stop it because fairy tales don’t happen in reality, so it’s pretty much an oxymoron. And yes, we will continue to mock you since you can’t seem to get enough of it. Please do us a favor and disappear to the hole you came from and thump your bible with someone who cares.

Woah Cristian (#13 and 19) calm down. You’re the one whose gone looking for trouble, not us. Look, I’m not the one interrupting a church service and insulting God, throwing things at the priest, singing off-key and all that. Man, I thought God was supposed to love and forgive EVERYONE. Not just people who belive in christianity, cathlocism, anglicanismyness etc. If god does exist and armaggedon comes I guess I’ll just say “oh, well, sorry god I guess you do exist” or something along those lines. Live and let live, man.

I laugh at you ‘christian’, I’ve read the bible multiple times in my life and none of the organized churches adhere to ‘God’s Word’
I don’t believe in your Armageddon, but if it does come you’ll burn with everyone else. How do I know this? because the word christian literally means christ-like and Jesus didn’t act a damn thing like you hatemonger.

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
