Have fun with your nonsense

Have fun with your nonsense because I am going to destroy all that crap you people spread. There hasn’t been a single evolutionist or atheist that has won or ever will win against me. Don’t believe me, see how many forum discussions on evolution that you can find on aol. Check out Adrienne Curry’s blog. I just started there but that’s just for fun. If darwin knew of me, he would have never come up with ridiculous theory that doesn’t have a single gram of sense in it. I will single handily take on any and all evolutionist and atheists in a nationally televised public forum, discussing evolution. And I will single handidly win. So enjoy it while it lasts, because it won’t last much longer.

    I go to a Catholic School…

I spend half my time laughing in Religion lessons…

I can disprove my Religion teacher…

    I’m sure you don’t even have a teaching degree….

    I’m only fifteen…

I believe that Evolution is much more practical than Creationism

    I’m not the only one…

I also believe that FSM is not some metaphor for ‘evolutionism’ as you call it…

    FSM = Religion, not evolution….

You’re on the wrong page if you are trying to disprove evolution…

This is a good page for disproving FSM… WHICH YOU CANNOT DO IF THE ALMIGHTY IS INVISIBLE!!!!

I also believe that posting a stupid name like “The Asetrian” would mean you are scared of saying your name in fear that someone might find you….

    I wouldn’t… I live in Australia…

I also would like that if you WERE to try and televise that would be easily won in our favour… make it international TV…

I would find it fun to watch your expressions, while people destroy you…

PS. Would your name caption on TV still be “The Asetrian”? Because then people would think you’re an even bigger D**K…

    :D

“Singly Handily” indeed x2. Consistently, the hate mail directed at this site is coming from marginally literate posters who also miss the entire point of it, which is to say that “Intelligent Design” nonsense can be trumped by “other” nonsense that ironically is just as rational. An 8 year old could get the point. Amazing that such a large number of people miss it. It’s that, or perhaps there are mainly 7-year-olds posting these protests?

Maybe he has a point. Reading his rant, perhaps Darwin was wrong about survival of the fittest.

Wait – if there is no sense in evolution, then let’s examine YOUR cockamamie beliefs. Perhaps then you believe God created all species just as they are? Then explain the mutation of viruses/germs/diseases like AIDS. Why are there so many varieties in the same species? Hell, that ark must have been awfully large just to hold all the types of dogs in the world.

So, Mr. or Mrs. Ass-e-train, tell us your brilliant theories that outshine a renowned scientist like Darwin. And the experiments (reading doesn’t count) that proved your hypothesis.

P.S. No atheist or evolutionist has ever “won” against you because no one knows (or cares!) who the hell you are.

Is this guy retarded there is much more evidence for evolution than “creation.” Most christians miss the point and think that when someone says that they believe in evolution it means that they believe in “the big bang theory” which is completely different. There is hard evidence for evolution I don’t understand why people can’t just accept it as truth already. I mean they are going to have to some time in the future as human beings show notable changes in our physical makeup. Unless they just say that god did that. Like the mindless slaves they are.

I just wish to point out that some of us Pastafarians (notably TheFewTheProudTheMarinara) are making the rather unjustified assumption that Asetrian is a Christian… as I pointed out in my earlier post#27 he really seems to be on a mission, or at least he’s deluded enough to think so… but it ain’t so clear if it’s a mission from the Devil or a mission from some God or other (I personally suspect it’s some kind of inner psychological “devil” that is tormenting this poor guy!)
It seems to me that he’s just attacking for the sake of attacking and abusing for the sake of abusing, without seeming to have any particular point of view or opinion of his own (as I also pointed out in an earlier post#66). If we were Christians expressing our opinions and ideas here he’d probably be attacking us too!
I think I have identified Asetrian as “truthdigger” on the The Official Blog of Adrianne Curry http://www.adriannemcurry.com/blog/ who says:
“ your god did a good job with creation if he couldn’t even get his most precious creations to behave themselves and had to keep torturing them with death – until of course, Jesus meak and mild came along and created hell – then we could get punished for all eternity.” and “Okay Adrianne: You doubt the bible but you believe in god and Jesus – where did you get the information from. Adrianne have you ever been diagnosed? – because what I have seen of you, especially you in Russia in the curch and at the zoo, you are in serious need of some medication”
As you can see he’s attacking her for her belief in God so, as enjoi points out, we don’t have to be so angry towards Christians even when they apparently haven’t attacked us and we don’t need to defend ourselves! If we behave in this way we are guilty of playing along with Asetrian’s hate game of frustration… spreading dissention, animosity and heated debate between atheists and Christians (and everybody else) just for the sake of it! I personally think Pastafarians and Christians should be able to get along if we don’t attack each other and accept the absurdity of each other’s beliefs (whether they be genuine convictions or just a bit of satirical fun!)

But I stand by my statements; just substitute Torah or Quran, etc. for Bible and it’s all the same. The only reason for doubting evolution is that you fear it undermines the belief system that’s been drilled into you from the cradle.

    Asetrian,
I too am a believer of the good Lord. I was born and raised Catholic in the great country of Spain and I’m a flamboyant Christian. But you need to cool your jets. First of all, don’t be lashing out at Darwin, if you really knew your stuff, and you’re making it seem like you do, then you should surely know that Darwin himself stated that if anything like the cell existed then all his theories are wrong. At the time the cell had not been discovered, in case you were confused. And why are you crushing all these athiests and evolutionists. It’s their right to believe what they want. Isn’t God’s underlying message love? You know I think it might be. Hold up just a second there’s a bird on my windowsill. That’s weird, he told me to tell you something, “If we say we love God but hate others, we are liars. For we cannot love God, who we have not seen, if we do not love others, who we have seen.” That’s 1 John 4:20 (4:20, what a coincedence. Love stoners too) That little birdie knew his stuff. I suggest you really know yours too before you go hatin’. Live and let live. That’s what it’s all about. And you know nothing of it.

    Long live His Noodley-ness,

I agree that your assumption that most anti-evolutionists (or anti-Darwinists and anti-atheists) are usually raving religious fanatics is quite logical. I suppose that such fanatics are mainly Christians, since in most Islamic schools presumably the only scientific notions they even bother to teach nowadays are how to make explosive devices to kill infidels and so they’ve probably never even heard of evolution or Darwin! Apart from that they’re too busy learning the Koran by heart to wonder about where we came from… after all if your main task in life is to destroy your own human intellectual and spiritual potential and that of others then you don’t have to worry if you evolved from a monkey… since you have virtually become one now, who cares if you were one a million odd years ago! (Joking apart I wonder what the Islamic attitude towards Darwinian evolution really is? Does anyone know?)
Anyway since I did some investigative research on The Official Blog of Adrianne Curry leading to a near-certain identification of Asetrian I think we can confidently assume that this wierdo is so angry and confused that he has it in for EVERY kind of belief and opinion and conviction held by others, whether Atheist, scientist or Christian etc, since the certainties of others threaten his own cowardly lack of faith or convictions and certainties (since he basically lacks an identity of his own he is also devoid of any mental or emotional certainties of his own!). According to an aberrant and paradoxical mechanism of aggressive denial he tries to convince himself that he has a personal identity (and the accompanying courage and force of character) by indiscriminately attacking the identities and beliefs of others.
What we have here is therefore a textbook example of an anti-evolutionist who is a non-believer. In your Post 180 you say: “Are there any anti-evolutionists who are non-believers? I’d like to hear from them.” If you wish to find such a rare breed it seems you need look no further than Asetrian himself! You say “The only reason for doubting evolution is that you fear it undermines the belief system that’s been drilled into you from the cradle.” This is no doubt the most common reason, but in Asetrian’s case I believe that his reason for criticising and attacking the theory of evolution is that he fears the belief systems and logical convictions of all other people and the concomitant strong personal identities that such beliefs and convictions seem to represent, since they seem to constitute a threat which (in his diseased mind) could undermine his own weak personality and undeveloped sense of identity.
I find it fascinating to psychoanalyse the contributors to the hate mail section… keep up the good work Bobby! Keep those mad deliriums and confused tirades coming!

Hello Teh Spag-worshipper post 188 and thanks for your feedback! I can’t really see why you’re “disturbed” and “quite insulted” by my “gross generalisation of Muslims” If (as you claim) you aren’t one! Are you disturbed because someone has the courage to speak out and criticise gangs of deluded death-worshipping fanatics? Do you think we should just turn a blind and “tolerant” eye while they plan their attacks on the western way of life and western lives? (As well as various eastern ways of life and eastern lives) Do you think intolerance and aggression should be dealt with by permissive “live and let live” flowery words and “tolerance”? I’m afraid you’re sadly deluded if you think that will stop the cancer of fanaticism… if anything such attitudes seem to have encouraged it! Cancers have to be uprooted and stamped out for the good of the “body politic” (by the way, protecting the general public from death and fanatical brainwashing is actually a form of democracy, and I hope you can understand that!!)
Of course the comments that “disturbed” you so much refer only to terrorist extremists and those who launch death threats against those who criticise them or refuse to believe their nonsense… I don’t think ALL Muslims are like that! If that was the case there would be all out war between them and the west, instead of sporadic attacks! If you had read my mail carefully you’d have seen that it was actually rather ironic (I even wrote “Joking apart” after my hyped-up, exaggerated half-joking tirade in order to help those literal-minded individuals who are sadly unable to recognise irony and in anticipation of any literal-minded comments such as your own!) and even within such a clearly humorous and ironic context I actually said “in MOST Islamic schools PRESUMABLY the only scientific notions they even bother to teach… etc”, instead of “in ALL Islamic schools IN FACT the only scientific notions they even bother to teach… etc”.
Of course I’m not so stupid to think that they REALLY learn how to make bombs at school!!! But as regards my comments on the low level of science teaching in Muslim schools (as well as low level of interest of the Muslim world in alternative ideas and cultural debates) I think you’ll find that it is substantiated by data such as the fact that the number of foreign language books translated into Arabic in the entire Muslim world in a ten year period is actually less than the number of foreign language books translated into Spanish within Spain alone in ONE YEAR! (I read this information in a specialist journal a few months ago). When Islamic culture began in the 7th century it led to the foundation of universities and the training of important doctors, mathematicians and philosophers. But this high level of culture, open-mindedness and science has now become largely replaced by hatred, paranoia and self-congratulating reactionary ignorance. (Can you think of any Muslim who won the Nobel Prize for science or who made any major contributions to science in the last 100 years?? I can’t, but if you can give me any names I’d be glad to learn from you!)
Anyway when you say: “I think the teaching on evolution is much the same as the Christian. And, as with Christians, an awful lot take it with a pinch of salt” I hope you are right! I presume you are because I still trust that people’s common-sense is stronger than their idiocy (despite the occasional evidence to the contrary)!

It ain’t hypocrisy… It’s plain talking and common sense without being cowed by blood-curdling war-cries and death-threats.
It’s the “live and let live” people with their flowery words and facade of “tolerance” (but let’s drop a bomb on ‘em anyway or occupy their country to keep ‘em well behaved) who are the hypocrites (and who really stir up the hornet’s nest of hatred)! which group do you belong to?? flowery words or common sense? What is the exact quote I’m looking for? “The way for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing”. Yes, the vast majority of Muslims are good people – but what are they doing to stamp out the violent minority?

There seem to be too much paranoia and us-vs-them philosophy in Arab lands. Perhaps because that’s one of the major tools a dictatorship (Saddam’s Iraq, Iran’s theocracy) or entrenched monarchy (Saudi Arabia) has to keep the populace under control. This philosophy can be found again and again in the Quran and in the fatwahs of radical imams.

As someone who actually knows a thing or two about Islam I’m going to deny TFTPTM’s comment as well. There’s nothing in the Qu’ran more offensive than anything in the Bible. The problem is that radicals and fundamentalists are in control of the entire country.
Imagine if the Westboro Baptist Church was in control of the government. I think you begin to see the picture, no?
You’re very right in that they use a combination of religion, us vs. them mentality, and fear to keep control of their people. The West is also not well liked there, so the governments have to look all tough or whatever. Still, there are countries out there that are actually quite nice, the UAE for instance. Afghanistan is also okay, for the most part, it’s just in the Southern areas (especially Helmand province) and the Eastern Durand Line areas that there are serious problems. Anyway, the entire area is a huge patchwork of different situations and political climates. It’s also a patchwork of different kinds of Muslims (yes, scimmia, they aren’t all the same) but even so much of the debate is fundie Muslims vs. non-fundie Muslims. And, yes, there is a debate. Not all of the people in those areas buy into the parania. Actually…the whole Sunni vs. Shi-ite divide is somewhat false. Sure it’s a problem, but Shi-ite fights Shi’ite plenty of the time. Just look at the Battle Of Basra. In which Iran fought…on our side! Iran, you know, the bastion of hatred for the US? Yeah. They were fighting with us. Against other shi-ites.
So guys, don’t even start to make generalizations about the Middle East. Any statement you make like that is bound to be ridiculous.
And I would watch out about insulting Saudi Arabia, they’re our third biggest supplier of oil. And Bush is like best friends with their princes, lol.
As for the Asetrain: bring it on. I’m no biologist but I bet I could take this guy. Now, if it were an argument over international relations (specifically in the middle east) or economics, well, I’m 99% confident I could wipe the floor with this guy. I probably also could destroy him debating over political science theory, but I seriously doubt he knows crap about game theory or social choice theory, or black swans, etc. etc.
I’m not sure if mr. vishnuisbetterthanfsm was calling me arrogant, but if he was then sure. But honestly I sort of have a right to be arrogant over asetrain’s obvious retardation, and scimmia’s blatant idiocy. And FSM is way better than Vishnu. Proof: Does your Heaven have stripper factories, or a beer volcano? No? Yeah, didn’t think so.
Also, Princess Psycho: Dinosaurs were indeed cool. *high five*

No one should waste their time “debatinig” with someone like this. Instead, go get one of those dolls with the pull strings. They’ve got 18 exciting words and phrases, and are more likely to actually listen to what you’re saying.

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
