Hello, I am a Christian, and I would just like to know, is their any proof of FSM? If so can you please show me the proof, or explain it to me over the web please, I am curios to know. I personally believe this is just some silly religion thought up by an over active imaginative mind of someone. Who told others, and the few that believed him were hopeless in life as it was to begin looking for someone to lead them, and show them the way, so they just followed whatever he said. Proof is the eye of the beholder, much like every religion the proof is in the hearts and minds of those who see it. Pastafarism to it’s great credit has explanations for various things written into it’s belief.
Like many religions I’ll direct you to the primary gospel of the religion and suggest you read the text with an open mind.
On a side note: “people hopeless in life as it was to begin looking for someone to lead them, and show them the way, so they just followed whatever he said.”
This discribes most religions and most notably Christianity. Be more thoughtful of the parellels you draw.

Well, Divooneh, that really depends on your standard of proof. If you’re looking for the sort of “proof” that underpins Christianity, basically a set of stories written down in a book and called holy, then I would simply refer you to the “Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster” available for purchase at Amazon.com through a link on this very webpage. Given that standard of proof The Gospel should do nicely, and welcome aboard!
If you’re looking for the sort of proof that underpins, say, Medical Science or Physics or one of those hard subjects, you know, specific, documented assumptions and verification through peer review and repeated experimentation, then you’re out of luck. Although in that case, assuming that you’re an intellectually consistent person, you probably wouldn’t call yourself a Christian (at least not out loud).
So read the book, and have some beer. It’s even better when you do both at the same time!

Hello, I am a Pastafarian and I would just like to know, is there any proof of God? If so, can you please show me the proof or explain it to me over the web please? I am curious to know.
I, personally, believe christianity is just some silly religion thought up by an overactive, imaginative mind of someone who told others, and the few that believed him were hopeless in life and so began looking for someone to lead them and show them “the way”, so they followed whatever he said.
… I wonder if they ever read what they write?

And much like christianity I imagine. As you can see, there is plenty of evidence of the FSM on this very website, feel free to check it out!
In response though, could you prove that your God exists?
May the FSM find you.

Also, curios= is a damn cabinet curious= what you probably meant
However, you=not curious, because had you read the CAUSE PAGE, I would not be laughing hysterically right now!!!!!!

Hello, I am a Pastafarian, and I would just like to know, is their any proof of Christianity? If so can you please show me the proof, or explain it to me over the web please, I am curios to know. I personally believe this is just some silly religion written down long ago by people who weren’t around to witness any of the events they wrote about. They put it in a book, and the few that believed them were hopeless in life as it was to begin looking for someone to lead them, and show them the way, so they just followed whatever they said. Eventually it grew into a powerful force and now can’t be questioned.
So Divooneh, tell me, is there proof for Christianity?

Divooneh-
You’ve missed our point. This religion has exactly as much proof as any other religion. Zero. It wasn’t created to be believed in, it was created to demonstrate that religion does not belong in science class. It’s a satire (look it up). When you see a Pastafarian proclaiming the Noodly Goodness of the FSM (pesto be upon him) they are just spoofing the evangelists who actually take themselves seriously.
So lighten up, have some alfredo and grog.

what PROOF do you need? we have FAITH that FSM exists. in christianity, islam, judaism, etc., there is no PROOF that is necessary…you believe and in fact, KNOW that your god exists because of your FAITH. BLIND FAITH. the church of the FSM is no different in that regard.
there is JUST as much proof that FSM exists as does ANY OTHER DIETY. i would challenge you to think about it.

Yeah, much like Scientology. And Buddhism. Oh, and Islam too. Oh yeah, and Christianity. Pastafarianism is unique in that it actually encourages people to have fun. Proof of the FSM? Our proof is our faith. Faith–that is all the evidence we really need. That, and the negative correlation between pirate population and global warming. In case that somehow doesn’t sound legit, then you know that it is only practical to share our faith, because you want to share in the beer volcano and stripper factory with us. What do you have to lose? Put all those woefully inadequate motivations together, and it adds up to a good overall reason. Who can possibly refuse? I’ll tell you who: Atkins dieters.

Hi Divooneh,
Yes, there is proof of FSM. We have “The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster,” just as you have your Bible. You can buy The Gospel in many fine book stores or at Amazon.com. But if that is not proof enough, then maybe you should consider that faith does not require proof. In fact, that is the whole point of faith – to believe without proof.
As for your explanation of how you think our religion came about, I hope you see the irony of you words. They are priceless.
Thanks for writing. May you be touched by His Noodly Appendage and bathed in the warmth of His Sauciness. RAmen

The same could be said about Christianity. I find that worshiping a zombified savior is pretty silly to me, and that since their is no real scientific proof of any of the “miracles” that occurred in the bible. I guess what I’m trying to say is that our religion is just as real as yours.

First comment – woohoo!
The proof is in scripture – the word of the creator – read the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Oh, and also the small matter that we’re all here today, walking around the planet that the FSM created.
What more ‘proof’ do you want???

Ah, but is there any proof of God?
there may as well be a spaghetti monster for someone to look up to rather than this ‘God’ fellow who, despite being omnipotent and all that, decided to let us humans run amok and kill each other even though he knew we would.
isn’t everything created by him, including pastafarianism?
he obviously isn’t really offended otherwise there would have been a sign from him, if he exists.
although I am not aware of any hard scientific facts about pastafarianism, what facts are there about christianity that could warrant there being a god?
are there any recent ones?
maybe he just went ‘bah, i give up’ and left or vanished out of existence aeons ago.
at least pastafarianism is non-violent and has not involved the deaths of thousands of believers and a man with some groovy ideas being nailed to a cross.
as i recall (well not ‘recall’ per se, but have learnt/heard) christianity had a pretty rocky start too.
“I personally believe this is just some silly religion thought up by an over active imaginative mind of someone. Who told others, and the few that believed him were hopeless in life as it was to begin looking for someone to lead them, and show them the way, so they just followed whatever he said. ( much like scientology)”
that reminded me of christianity.
when you think about it:
maybe jesus was a pretty radical thinker for his day and age (with all the ‘be nice to people, don’t take revenge’ and all that) and HE told others (who were at that time a tiny minority of everyone else, possibly the same ratio as pastafarianism) and they followed.
and now it is one of the most popular religions in the world.
everything starts small.
i am an atheist.
i just like arguing and i like the idea of there being a spaghetti monster and pirates :)
and here’s something to think about. over-active imagination you say? didn’t jesus, in his time, have an overactive imagination? and what if there IS a god? wouldn’t it be inspiration from god, not imagination, that spawned pastafarianism, as it (apparently) spawned christianity.
i’ll let you think about it.

Hello Divoneeh,
I am a Pastafarian, and I would just like to know, is their any proof of Christianity? If so can you please show me the proof, or explain it to me over the web please, I am curious to know. I personally believe Christianity is just some silly religion thought up by an overactive imaginative mind of someone (like Peter and Paul) who told others (the other Apostles), and the few that believed him (such as St. Ignatius and the other early Church Fathers) were hopeless in life as it was, to begin looking for someone to lead them (Jesus) and show them the way, so they just followed whatever he said (much like Scientology and every other religion ever made up by man).

one can argue your “Christian” belief is totally illogical. let alone has no proof.
as for any belief.
me myself as a satanist, i just think everyone is entitled to their own thought.
if it be Scientology, to Christianity to Satanism to “The flying spaghetti monster”.
who is to say any of us are right?
i mean there is ZERO proof god, satan, jesus or anything like that exist.
but we believe i suppose in finding a belief that works for our minds.
all im saying.
dont be so quick to judge and try to make your “Religion” so much greater.
the bible (new testament) was written hundreds of years after jesus was dead.
let alone most of it is contradictory.
SO REALLY.
dont be so quick to judge.

Divooneh – may I call you “Div” ? or “Divvy” ?
Congratulations, you are applying critical thinking skills sadly lacking in those of your faith.
Here’s an idea, why not apply these impressive skills to your religion and ask yourself where is the evidence? Note that evidence does not consist of an ancient book of fables and legends unless you accept all ancient books as being of equal status. Lots of people believing something doesn’t count as evidence either, lots of people believe in other religions which you will be atheist towards. Some people go one stage further than you and are atheist to one more god.

Wow, you’re a Christian, and you admit it? Seriously, the proof of FSM is so good that you can taste it, whereas, for Christianity you have to believe some ancient fairy tales with no evidence to support them (much like scientology), and not even tasty morsels to eat. Plus, evidence shows that the Christian fables have just been stolen from prior superstitions, whereas the FSM is original and can be made fresh again at any time; there’s no need even to be reborn.

P.S
as to the “others, and the few that believed him were hopeless in life as it was to begin looking for someone to lead them”
Who does that sound like?
Hmmm,I just remembered! It sounds like someone who would become a Christian. Example needed? Ok, the disciples were fishermen, people with a hard rough life willing to do anything to get out, even follow some nutcase claiming to be the son of god….
I rest my case.
