The stimulus for my post above was that the list of posts for the day contained only Spambots and Olio. I’m sorry, Olio and Keith, I didn’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings. However, I would like to see a renewal of the lively past give and take among more than a few contributors.

Which reminds me: some time back there was an attempt on this site to form a Cranky Old Fart club but things never got off the ground. I can’t remember the minimum age limit but I’m only 2 1/2 years away from the Victor Meldrew phase of my life. My O/H would willingly supply testimonies to my crankiness.
