Excuse my ignorance about US ways… but whats a “funnel” cake?
I’ve heard of a fennel cake… not very sweet (at least I’d imagine so)
and I’ve heard of a funnel-web spider… not very tasty either (at least I would want to taste one, even if well-cooked)
Is a funnel cake something in between? (and therefore neither sweet not tasty, albeit very decorative!)
Illuminate me please… and tell me that FSM has not been run over, or at least that he’s risen again on the third day!

Funnel cake is made by pouring thin batter through a funnel into hot oil. It’s done when it’s golden brown; then we remove it from the oil and sprinkle powdered sugar on it. I first enjoyed funnel cake when i moved from Oregon to Philadelphia. You can Google up the recipe, and whip up a batch in your native land.
Funnel Cake beautifully resembles sweet, puffy, noodles: a fitting dish for a Pastafarian treat. Yum, I think I’ll go make some.
