Yesterday afternoon I spotted the FSM on the BBC during Mister Maker on Cbeebies.
Good to see His Noodliness being planted firmly into the minds of the young.

It’s good to see that BBC works also in our Noodly path. We must not forget that only young children can assume heartly the Flying Almighty and follow His Path. RA-men

I was really excited about this, because I had the (false) idea that the BBC was owned by the British government. Double-checked my facts, and they are a public corporation, not a government entity. Sad, because the latter would have meant official endorsement by the government of the United Kingdom, which would have been huge. Still, pretty cool. RAmen.

And so it was that His Noodly Greatness did shine forth from the innocent minds of our children and behold! His wonderous form was inked on paper, exclaiming to the world that the Great Flying Spaghetti Monster was indeed the saviour of our planet and the finder of lost parmegiano regiano.
I’m writing from the Spanish National Radio (Radio Nacional de España). I’m desperately trying to contact a member of your faith who speaks Spanish so that we can give full unbiased coverage of the FSM cult this afternoon in the program… Please, please help us out, for the noodly one’s sake…

No, the BBC is not a government institution. To get the government on board, let’s all e-mail our MP and promise our vote in return for a public endorsement of His Noodliness on the floor of the House. Find the address via:
No, the BBC is not part of the UK government. But why don’t we Brits all e-mail our MPs and offer our votes in return for a public acknowledgement of His Noodly Goodness on the floor of the House. Go to http://www.parliament.uk/directories/hcio.cfm

Actually the BBC has officially endorsed the FSM and even paid for a FSM ceromony on a real pirate ship (I believe this is a world first in modern times)
A couple of years ago the BBC religion department wanted to a pilot about ’strange’ religions and a man’s search for the meaning of life.
Anyway they offered to fund a FSM meetup on the Golden Hind (its a real genuine pirate ship/musuem in London)
They paid for the noodles and the hire of the ship but alas their was no budget for beer!!!! which we had to pay for ourselves
Alas they never used the pilot but the BBC must have it somewhere
Could someone leak it,

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
