Chilean school endorses the FSM

window0.jpg

Pastafarian Lyn spotted stained-glass window depicting the FSM at a school in Chile. Excellent!

I thought I was the only Pastafarian in Chile, and since I didn’t make this, there are others. I even made my schedule so I didn’t have any classes on Friday.

Ramen to all of you.

Lyn

It’s very inspirational to see Chilean education system endorsing the high ethical values (piracy) and moral standards (strippery) of Pastafarianism. Unfortunately, other nations deride that same values and look at their disgraced and disoriented youths.

Now that is Intelligent Design at its finest. I hope the teachers wear pirate regalia. Arriba Chile!

Chili? Isn’t that one of The Enemy Foodstuffs? Dare we risk our Culinary Purity by dabbling in the evil ecumenism of mixing pasta with chili? Where are our limits? What desecration is next? When will… uh, I’ll have to continue my rant later. I’m getting hungry… pasta… chili… mmm-mmm-mmmm… (drool)…

Personally while I honor the site of Him. I’m fearin the question must be asked: Should we allow the mingling of school and Pastafarianism? If I saw one of me blokes goin t’ school I’d keelhaul him! No good ever come outta sitin’ still. Not that I haven’t just seen a wonderous thing just now… I’m just leary of what it mean.

Lyn: You’re right :) Actually it was kind of…my idea xD. The convention is called Concilio de Dragones. And the pattern was found online (just type “Stained glass patterns” ;) ), a friend of mine did it and it turned out pretty good :)

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
