I belong to a pagen homeschool group and one of the members was chosen for this show. By her telling, the show was not anywhere close to the reality of what happened that week. If her need for the money (10,000 is what they pay the families, 1000 is what they pay for referals) hadn't been so great she would never have considered doing this show!
