The FSM made an appearance at a protest of Scientology by Anonymous. These demonstrations are all over the place, but this one was in LA. The FSM wasn’t wearing a mask.

Because they’ve become a place for people to wear masks and shout 4chan memes rather than actually confronting Scientology. At least that’s what I’ve heard. Haven’t been to any.

  2. Noodles in soy sauce says:

Actually we should not take sides against anybody in particular, but Tommy Cruise’s acting is not what it used to be in let’s say, ehh, I forgot.

Well Platipus scientology is Evil, thats right, Evil, the FSM is not evil, spaggy is nice, Tom Cruise, Evil, spaggy nice, so you see its important to protest against a protest to maintain the inverse proportions of the inner world, to keep order and make life truly fabulous, only through inverse protesting can we allow ourselves to accept something totally hideous and depraved like scientology, but we still honour them as ones who may come to the Church of the flying spagetti Monster, I hope that clears up any confusion.

@Dan, sorry to hear about Jindal and his antics. As you may know, he is being touted as a running mate for McBushCain to lend racial “balance” to the ticket. I wrote a letter to the Pinellas County School board in Florida which is posted under the Pinellas blurb on this site in which I suggested that they should teach “Intelligent Gravitation” a Wiccan theory that universal gravitation was “only a theory” and could be disproven by determined instruction in how to use a broomstick. I suggested as a final exam, one of the elementary schools could take and entire class up on the roof of a ten story building and have all the kids with broomsticks in hand step simultaneously off the roof of said building and fly to the roof of some neighboring building which would have to be more than 1000 feet distant from the first buildlng. Never heard back from ‘em.
Anyway, it is disappointing that this covert theology is being pimped by Jindal and his henchpeople and I hope the Supreme Court will remain committed enough to the First Amendment to strike this thing down. Probably will, unless we get another Scalia clone or two rammed down this nation’s throat. Better hope it’s Obama taking the Oath January 20, 2009 and not McBushCain.

Protesting against scilons is the best of ideas. Christians aren’t the only special interest group fighting to have their crap taught in schools after all. Mandatory e-meter readings and tech classes in every public school would be their preferred vector for spreading their garbage across the US.
