Don’t you just LOVE these comments? Allright hun listen up, you CAN belive in us, you just choose not to, and that’s not a problem. Everyone has the right to believe in whatever makes them comfortable. Secondly, we are not reaping the benifits of idiots, in fact I think you’re getting us confused with scientology. If there’s anyone you want to bash, it’s them. And lastly don’t talk about Bobby like that. Anyone that’s taken a n average history coarse in school knows that Christianity in the 1300-1700′s persecuted all other religions. The Lutheran church was founded because Martin Luther could not abide the Catholic church making people pay out of their pockets to get a simple confession which, last time I checked, is a god given right. Next time you want to critisize a group, do some research.

Well, a couple of million priests got efficient jobs this way… and the good thing about being a priest is that your are automatically managing a couple of hundred people without any overhead expenses…

I believe the business model has made its proof… Obviously competition is not welcomed…

Whats the popes job again ?

    I forget lol

An all the preists an nuns…

Oh wait they don’t have jobs…

Did you know the church used to charge people to have their sins forgiven. lol

They still have a hefty fee for marriges. A sacrament that is surposedly created by god for man. What right do they have to charge for that

By the way I appologise unreservedely for always going on about christains and usualy like just now roman catholics. It’s only that i know more about this religion as i used to be a member of it.

Arrrrr. I thought my money was going for the new pirate ship Holy Cannon. What the hell? Oh, wait a minute, I haven’t sent any money. And besides, since when are we an organization anyway? I’m starting to get suspicious here.

Maybe if we extort 10% of all Pastafarian money to build ornate cathedrals and support massive bureaucracies, and ask the Flying Spaghetti Monster to torture us for eternity for not worshiping her, then we would be a real church. Of course, the FSM doesn’t accept money directly, so intermediaries like priests and pastors are required–okay, I’m starting to see why we need an organization. Hopefully, pirates will work, since we already have plenty, and we’ll hardly skim any off the top.

Or…maybe we could just agree to teach religion in church, or in school theology classes, and NOT TEACH RELIGION IN SCIENCE CLASSES. Why can’t the tards realize that’s the issue?

As for anything else: The Flying Spaghetti Monster said it, I believe it, and that settles it! RAmen.

I think acctualy, its would take more brains to make money without a job. I mean in order to survive with out having to kiss anyone’s ass, is near impossible! Congrats Mr. Henderson for (put into 70′s hippie terms) fighting the power and sticking it to “the man”! :D

Hmmm. I wasn’t aware I was receiving any money from FSM, just the normal religious wholeness and well-being. Are you saying happiness has intrinsic value? That makes sense, seeing as your faith is uncommonly ready to root out and take advantage of anything positive.

  7. Lola says:

Unlike, uh, Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell and Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker and Ted Faggard and…

  8. Lola says:

Wow! Thanks, dude, until you mentioned it, I hadn’t noticed that this was an organization that benifits from the stupidity of people. I’m becoming a Christian, they benifit from the intelligence of people…waaa haaa….
