Here in Louisville ,Ky we spotted the flying spaghetti monster in all his invisible and noodly glory when he became covered with snow in our back yard.

the snow fsm is lacking something very important. i can clearly see the meat balls but it needs more noddles shure that will take a long time but it would look like him so all you need is more noodle snow. ramen

Amazing. i’ve seen him in the snow as well. Once, I was driving past a field. the snow was starting to melt, and the part that has melted had a great resemblance to his Noodliest. if i had a camera, I would’ve taken a picture. I wanted to go back to get one, but I was late for a doctor’s appointment, and then forgot about it. Anyway, i’ve converted from a not at all strict Christian to a Very serious Pastafarian. i’ve been trying to convert people, but they just laugh about it and don’t take it seriously. when i get my printer working, i’ll print out some of those flyers and brochures, and get to work. being in a Christian community, this’ll be tough.

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
