I don’t understand why you all hate God

I don’t understand why you all hate God. Why don’t you believe He exists? I read in an earlier message that the Bible is filled with historical errors. Actually, it is very historically accurate. Christianity has been around since the beginning of time - it just didn’t have the name Christianity. The belief in God was the very first religion, until man sinned.

Who said we do? We LOVE our FSM, why else would we worship him!!!

Yeah, sure, your Bible is historically accurate. Go ask an agnostic historian– they will give you the complete, unbiased truth.

@Chaos: I totally agree. Although your first statement I beg to differ with, because I feel that the logical course of action is to make no assumptions at all (I’m an agnostic, but I have moral and ethical beliefs).

We don’t hate your God, Henderob, we just don’t believe in him, or as Chaos said, know that he is less powerful and and morally inferior to us.

If you have such a huge problem with us, why are you using our mighty prophet’s nickname? (Henderbob– you just left out the B)

Christianity has NOT been around since the beginning of time. Just about 2000 years. Stupid people believe that the Earth is 6000 years old. If you are an evangelist, there’s 4000 years missing. Of course, you people are stupid and thus suck at math. If there’s 100 million stars, (which there are much more) and theres an average of .01 planets on them, and there is suitable living conditions on .00000001 of them, then every .00000001 stars there will be life on them. This is just the stars we can see from the earth. Multiply that by infinity. There are infinite amounts of life. If .0000001 percent of that life is sentient, then it is still infinity. If 100% of that infinity believes that earth is the only planet and that it is 6000 years old and god exists, I will still not believe.

actually, Zoroastrianism was the first religion to suggest a single omnipotent deity. And that focussed more on the contrast between good and evil spirits.

Well, Moses travelled across the orkney for half a year. The distance from start to destination was about eight days (per pedes). So, he must’ve been strolling around or just sitting, waiting, wishing…

historically accurate? fail. considering the gospels were all written at the same time, and we’re still not sure exactly what year Jesus was born.
anyway; how can you love (or hate) something that isn’t really there?
how i laugh at your stupidity.. ho-hum.

Christianity wasn’t formed until at LEAST ~30 C.E. There were MANY religions before that.

The key point in Christianity is the belief that Jesus is the Messiah. If Jesus didn’t do anything before twelve seconds after the beginning of time, how could Christianity have existed?

I have never believed in god & I never will for there is no proof & to rely on a ancient fairytale book of outdated text doesnt make him any more real. I openly refuse to be a slave to a dead guy on a stick as a poster boy to a god that doesnt exist!

what was the very first religion after man sinned?

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
