Those of you who bash Christianity by saying its fake are completely hypocritical by calling them closed minded. I can only imagine what radical Islam believers would say so lets not single out anybody. Live and let live instead of bashing one another why not accept everyone and do your own thing. There are radical conservatives in every religion. Also keep in mind if your a fact based person I would love to see these so called “fake” religions disproved.

We don’t single out Christianity. As a religion, we don’t attack. We like to think of ourselves as a tolerant religion.
On the other hand, Christianity is definitely the largest religion in the US, where many Pastafarians live. It also has disproportionately large political clout, often used for goals contrary to the Pastafarian mindset. One would therefore expect an equally large percentage of the critisism of individual Pastafrians to be directed at Christianity.

Incidentally, most of said criticism is on the comments pages of the Hatemail section of the site. Go through there and count how many letters purport to be from Christians and how many from Muslims.
The ‘fake’ religions have been disproved. It’s just that the closed minded and ignorant believers are incapable or unwilling to understand.

Bashing other religions is a sin in the Church of the FSM : no volcano of beer for those who would mock Jesus Christ or Muhammad.
However, teaching how the FSM really created the world in science classes where other religions have the right to do the same is a a Sacred Duty, and democracy too.

Well you have to admit that the Muslim heaven – with it’s 40 virgins AND wives waiting for you does hold a candle to strippers and beer. With that waiting for me, I might stop drinking at strip clubs.
It’s the entrance fee that’s just way too high.
True, religion cannot be disproved, because scientific theories are based on it being possible to disprove them, however whenever someone tries to disprove say…creationism, the people defending it make an “ad hoc” move “fixing” whatever evidence they found against the theory. This makes religion something i simply cannot respect as a rational belief.
Well ‘WC’ – why don’t you start by disproving the church of the spaghetti monster? If you can bring empirical evidence, that our religion is fake, then we’ll talk.
