Googly-eyed FSM Treats

The geniuses at Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories have published instructions on constructing a Flying Spaghetti Monster treat, complete with edible googly eyes made of gelatin capsules and sprinkles - a first, I’m sure.

I think you’ll want to check it out.

    Looks yummy.

Suggestion though - stick the pupils on with icing or something. They won’t be bobbly, but then you won’t have to run around trying to find food grade gelatine capsules.

Although the googly eyes were the most *challenging* part of the project, the article is fascinating in its entirety! I wonder what take those Evil Mad Scientists would or could have at the crucifixion of one Jesus… nah, couldn’t be that funny. Besides, there’s enough xian merchandising going on, edible:

And back in parochial school it was all about eating the body of christ. Now once again I can feel good about eating the lord and savior! RA-men!

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
