Huge thanks to Vincent Moreau for the new header image. He also made this incredible wallpaper for us.

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American

It’s gooooooooood. Goody goooood.
But what’s the dot doing behind “Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.”? It’s not a sentence.
And the left sun can be ditched.
But the rest; I like it. A lot.
That header image is sublime. Great work!

@ Vincet (van Gogh) Moreau…the new header is deviously copasetic indeed !
.
Will you be including a midget in the much anticipated “Ice Battle” series ?
If so, can you have him driving a bad-ass 1969 Camero SS/RS with an original 327ci. & rally stripes ?
.
Awaiting your reply,

Pam, the FSM was slightly drunk at the time of creation. Give the guy a break! If he wants two suns he can have two :).
Yes I did! I will try to construct a durim idol of his spaghettiness soon.
@Aesi - I apologize…=(
I like the triumphant midgit in front of the sun
I don’t think that second one is a sun. I think it is a noodly halo of power eminating from Him.
Why the dark green background on the open letter page? It’s not a good contrast for the near-sighted like me, or the stupid who really need all the clarity there can be!

Noooooooo! I really, really, really liked the old one. This one isn’t subversive enough. Oh, well. I guess I’ll just have to take it like a pirate. It must all be part of His Noodly Goodness’ cunning plan. Did I mention that I really, really, really liked the old one? Aaaaarrrrrrr
I like it a lot, but I also agree with those who said that the old one was so brilliant.
Great graphics, poor typography (the version I can see at this very moment, anyway). Really poor, and that couldn’t have been the most difficult part of the job, could it? The outline of the letters is a mess, and the letters should have been spaced more! C’mon, Vincent M., to your typewriter!
@Pacific Pam Jan 9th, 2008 at 7:16 pm: “Did anyone noticed the two suns?”
.
The scene depicted is probably dated when the FSM hadn’t decided yet how many suns there would be. He changed the second one into a moon, finally.
@Jean Bart - oooooooh!
@laurie
I agree I did like the older one much better, this one is good but the old was sooo funny too me. I mean it is the picture that coined the phrase “Touched by his noodly apendage”
Regardless it’s all good.
Pasta be with you.
Ramen
The new one has its merits, but I think it’s too cartoony. I liked the satire and subtle seriousness of the old one much better.
Unfortunately, I was only recently “touched by His noodly appendage,” so I have not seen the older header. I wish there was a way to go back in time to that glorious age. Alas.
You win: the header image will change randomly from now on. Feel free to send me more images.
Me no likee.
The Michelangelo one was/is inspired, witty and somehow profound. Lose the new one, it looks like something from a kids programming channel.
May the sauce be with you.
