Hey, my comment wasn’t an ad! “Chris” was wondering how to resize the holy picture of his noodliness and I was trying to be helpful by directing him to a FREE site that I use all the time.

OMFSM! That’s hilarious. I’m going to do like the fundies and paint “Put the FSM back in ChriFSMas” on my car window… and maybe on the windows at work, too… spread the good word.

Is it possible to get a high-res version of this picture? I’d like to be able to print some posters and Christmas cards for the local FSM rally. :) Gotta spread the good word, RAmen!

I take it the fund went well? Good for you and Pluto!
.
Maybe with you there, Pluto will be able to steal a pirate ship for us. Just don’t do it drunk, I seem to remember that being a problem with the Cutty Sark job a while ago. Oh, and when I say “it” I mean stealing the ship, not IT. I don’t care if the two of you do that “it” drunk.

Great! Mind if I use it on my holiday cards this year? Not for sale… just to give to a few people that aren’t being represented in the variety of holiday religions.

OK, so the recent NPR coverage of discrimination against our religion got me thinking: we need a name for our winter holiday. Chrifsmas and Pastamas seem like potential names. Here are a few other candidate names revealed to me by the Noodly One.
1) Ramendan
2) Kwanziti
3) Nöodel
4) Pastover
Perhaps there are others in our community to whom the FSM speaks more clearly.

I realize this an older deader thread, and maybe you’ve already figured it out, but would it help if it were typed out as such: chriFSMas
An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
