Why is there an “s” after “Holiday”? The Gospel clearly states that the proper term is “Holiday”. I suppose it might be referring to the multiple holidays (not capitalized) but the card just capitalizes the first letter of every term.
I do like the snowflakes around the FSM. Our own propaganda even proves that the FSM causes cooler weather!

Either the FSM was decorating himself, or he was drunk while putting up lights.

Why does the FSM seem to be favoring one of the December holidays? Shouldn’t the FSM support either all or none of them?

I think it is missing a menorah / Kinara, Dreidel, maybe drop the meat balls for sawm (at least until after sunset) am I missing some one?

The FSM never looked better though!

i think he’s supporting HIS OWN HOLIDAY! called HOLIDAY. i just learned that pretty much every ancient religion has had some sort of major holiday at about the same time Christians now celebrate Christmas, way to conform to other religions bobby :). however, I DON’T SEE ONE OF THOSE KWANZA HATS ON THE FSM!

Still trying to get ahold of those evasive jollyfish/FSM button badges–not to mention the FSM stubby (beer) coolers.

@everyone talking about FSM supporting Christmas – I’ve come to this conclusion: FSM created “Pastamas” where the gift of pasta-love was passed around. He blessed everyone with good food, good friends and crazy-fun family. Santa got jealous and decided he was going to steal Pastamas from the FSM. He was going to give everyone gifts so they would love him more. Since the FSM knew about what was going to happen, he left cookies and milk in every house for Santa as a gift. They made a pact so they could share – FSM would provide food, good friends and crazy-fun family and Santa would leave the gifts under the tree.
    .
The tree is a gift of worship for the FSM. The tinsel is the noodles and the baubles are the meatballs. The reason it’s called Christmas is because Santa’s real name is “Chris Cringle”. FSM wanted to be nice and name it after Santa since they are such good friends. =)

The mysteries of moderated blogging tend to cause such phenomena. Days of delayed debating ahead, I’m afraid. Without said delay this post should turn up right under the quoted post, but now it will end up about one and a half pages further, if it shows up at all… And forget about medals! Well, that’s maybe the prophet’s intention: to get rid of the medals!

The FSM should not be wearing a Santa Claus hat! Keep Pastafarianism pure! A cup of red spaghetti sauce on His head is OK, but NO Santa hat!

Not sure what you are referring to. But there was some holiday plan circulating among a couple of Pastafarians. Drop me an email at t.p.c.klaver@qub.ac.uk for more.

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
