The MSU Pastafarians are in the news:

A group at Missouri State University is raising eyebrows with it’s not-so-mainstream take on religion.

The national “Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster” has a local chapter at MSU, and it’s sending a strong message to students on campus.

It’s the second-largest religious group on Missouri State’s campus, with more than 200 members, including MSU staff.

The article is very good, I encourage everyone to read it here.

    It is sort of, OEW.
Hallow e’en – the evening before all hallows (all saints day) also is the holy day all souls, when you remember the departed – hence the ghosts walking the earth bit

I somehow doubt that Lizard would come back after having their figurative ass handed to them. Someone was a bit too quick to judge the merit of Pastafarians, weren’t they?

Oh, Thank you for the proper spelling and usage of the word cretin!
It is so often misrepresented as Creton, and I absolutely hate that!

Amazing that the piece got aired at all…I was under the impression that Missouri and the rest of the Midwest was a religious theocracy. After all, Lizard did his best to back that up.

  5. Booty says:
