Is this a joke? Why are you so anti-Christian that you would go so far as to try and make the government not teach any creation theory? We have heard enough outta Darwin about how the earth “evolved”. He even admitted that what he wrote he did not believe. So, that leaves Pastafarianism and Christianity. To start, how many people are seriously going to take pasta as their lord? It’s just so rediculous. That’s all I can say. Not to mention that the more science reveales, the more it backs the Bible up. Now, on the last note, and this kinda applys to all “religions” (k, that brings up another note…) Christianity is the only “religion” that has a saviour to come and rescue his people. Every other religion, and I refer to them as religion of purpose, has prophets going around and telling people about their “god”. Our God actually sent his son to die for us, as well as prophets. Now, on the religion thing. Christianity is more than religion. It is THE way. It is how we live our life. You can be a “Christian” and do rituals and stuff like that, or you can be a Christian, and you just do what God has told you to do. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t pray because the Bible says to, I mean, don’t do things out of show, rather do them because you really love Jesus.

first off, anyone who honestly think these people worship a pasta monster are full blown idiots. they don’t really think that it created the earth or anything. they promote it as a symbol of anti-creationism. pastafarians are saying that christianity just as ridiculous as believing there is a pasta monster in the sky.
secondly, just because u were taught your whole life that there is a god and jesus and all that crap doesn’t make it real or diminish any other religion. if i told my kids from the time they were born that a giant teddy bear was in the sky and if they are good and give me money their whole lives they will go live with this teddy bear when they die and not burn in a fiery pit for eternity u bet your ass they would do anything i said. that is what christianity is. faith out of fear and ignorance. congratulations.
oh, and science doesn’t back up the bible. AT ALL. it says that people lived that long ago and that there was a guy names jesus. but there were hundreds of other prophets around at that time and and if u believe in magic like a little kid who says none of those other guys could do what “jesus” did?

You are so deep in what is known as the “False Consensus Effect” that its almost not worth my time to reply to you.
Evolution is supported by evidence, I have seen many creationists bring up their points and I’m not impressed because they are all flawed. Each thing that “disproves” evolution that I have seen is just creationist dogma, it is either completely made up, exaggerated, misquoted, or it attacks outdated data that is old, often dating back to Darwin himself, the guy lived 150 years ago; he was close but we have changed a few things since then because its what we do in the scientific method, we allow for change. This is something christianity doesn’t do and for a very long time it killed anyone that came up with contradicting evidence. For Example: Galileo that said the Earth was not the center of the Universe, the church wanted to kill him.
And even it Darwin didn’t believe it it doesn’t matter, all the evidence points towards it and noone has offered GOOD evidence against it. He probably didn’t want to believe it because he wanted something that proved genesis was correct, but all he found was evidence for evolution; and like a good scientist he published what he found whether he liked it or not.

Actually what you are refering to in darwins speech is his rhetoric opening, used to grab attention, misquoted by idiots all the time dont worry about it.
And by the way science has NEVER backed up the bible, the bible is constantly being changed in countless reprintings to suit what scinece has found that disproves the previous entries.
