An interesting question

Published October 17th, 2007 by Bobby Henderson

I understand that this monster can change scientific discoveries, but how do you know that there is not a more superior being that is fooling you into believing that there is in fact a monster, just like the “monster” is fooling scientists?

Bonjok wouldn’t ask these questions if he/she was touched by noodly appendage.
Only something with greater majesty than the FSM could create the FSM but there could be nothing with greater majesty so the FSM has no creator.

    Pretty elementary stuff.

    RAmen.

    Shiver me timbers!!!
    Banjok, this is blasphemy!
How dare you question His Noodleness?
May His noodly appendage touch you and guide you the right way.

    RAmen

Splice me mainbrace! It’s the Admiral! All hand on deck and look lively! Hoist the Jolly Roger. Extra rations of rum and macaroni for the crew tonight!
May His Wibbly-Wobbliness bless this occasion!
    RAAAAArrrrmen!

Who’s to say the FSM didn’t create something to go back in time and create him…(repeat in a circular fashion until satisfied that the FSM created all their is, or until your head hurts too much, whichever comes first)

  5. beeble says:

Wait maybe there is a giant invisible sauce pot in the sky!?! If the Sauce Pot created the FSM, then wouldn’t that make the FSM the messiah of the sauce pot?

  6. dantes_torment says:

The FSM is all powerful, and it would require something more than omnipotent to create Him. We know you can’t have more than infinite power, so He is the highest there can be.

Why do you have to complicate reality? The FSM created the world in 12 minutes at a gentle boil. End of story. Now run along and ask some christians the same question and see if you don’t get the same answer!

  8. storm petrel says:

Complicating reality is good for encouraging insanity, there are far too many people these days who won’t believe in the great FSM because it sounds ‘crazy’, because all other religions are so much saner, ahem.
I thought the FSM created everything in a matter of seconds, rather than minutes, but I’m open to corection on that (and my generally terriblr spelling).
