The following is a picture which appears on a wall in the Deprung Monastery just outside of Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region, P.R.C. I think even nonBelievers will admit there is a startling resemblance to the FSM. I think we need further information on the painting’s history before we can determine what it means. Clearly the Tibetans knew something.

Just got back from DragonCon in Atlanta, GA, where for the 2nd time I appeared as the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I thought you might want a few pictures, so I’m attaching two of my favorites.
I lost count of the number of pictures that were taken–well over 1000. I expect more will be turning up online, and I started a facebook group called “I was touched by the noodly appendage!” in hopes of seeing some of them posted.
The first picture is the FSM surrounded by some of his chosen ones. The second is just your run-of-the-mill group of dieties–Buddy Christ, God (from the movie Dogma), the FSM, and some suspicious looking guy in the background. See! We can all get along.
I can’t count the number of people who said things like “I LOVE the flying spaghetti monster!” or just knelt to be touched by the appendage. All I could say was RAmen. :-)
