Talk Like a Pirate Day

Wednesday, September 19th is Talk Like a Pirate Day. My guess is that a large percentage of Pastafarians will observe this holiday. For more information, I strongly suggest that you check out the website talklikeapirateday.com.

God? Pasta? what has more letters?
Sounds sweet, I wish i would have had such an experience, the look on his/her face must have been awesome.
Also, congrats on posting at 11:11, it’s my favorite time of day (luckily, it happens to be one of the few times that happen twice a day)

I too observed the holy holiday, but alas me high school ain’t that understandin’. I was forced to tell many a rat to shove something up his bunghole, and eventually me school admins saw me and forced me to take off the costume. A bandanna is not a f****** gang symbol on TLAPD! *Simmers in righteous rage*

Not only did I observe said day of pirateyness but I got the day off work (unpaid), dressed up in full pirate gear, drove two hours as a pirate to a different country (Wales from England) met up with a hoard of other pirates and went to a ’school uniform’ themed night as said hoard of pirates.

If you can beat that I’ll swallow me hat ye landlubber!

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
