Why sir do you dislike Christians so much

Why sir do you dislike Christians so much that you would create a site willed with such sarcasm and spite? I appologize for all the “Christians” who have found their way onto your hate mail section of your page. Thier actions are not representations of Christ-like living. I mainly just want to know what it is that spurred your actions?

-Ryan

Note from Bobby: I don’t dislike Christians or the religion of Christianity. I dislike dogma and formalism. And I dislike that subset of Christians who push their beliefs on others. And especially those who do this in our schools and government, and then claim that’s not what they’re doing. We are not stupid.

” suggested someone sent you an invite some months ago. But a few disagreed to that idea, quite strongly (I’m not saying that that included Peter Popoff btw, or that it didn’t). And it was decided that if there are strong objections no invite would be sent. So sorry, but it requires lack of any black balling, which did happen to you.”

I have been a wabbit shrouded in controversy…which is how I like it…FSM dammit!!! I just want an invite so I can turn it down for moral and political reasons…anyway…I’m probably not what the good folks at the Disciples of FSM (or any such organisation that may or may not exist) are looking for in a wabbit…I am touched that you’d think of poor ole Thumpie though DPG…will be sure to remember you on the FSM-mas Card list…

couldn’t think of anywhere else to post this: my friend and i decided to actually read the bible to see what the flaws in creationism were. we never got past the first page in the section where it says:
“and God did create every creeping thing that does creep upon the earth.”
What are these “creeping things”? Why has the Pasta Presence withheld them from society for so long???

For a listing of errors you could read ‘The age of reason’ by Thomas Paine, one of the founding fathers of the US. That should also disspell any myths by christian that the US was founded on christian values.

The original poster obviously hasn’t heard of irony… It’s fairly obvious that the whole reason this FSM kicked off was in reaction to the insistence of educational establishments in promoting christianity as the _only_ religion when there are other perfectly valid ones out there

His noodly appendages have reached India too. though now i am in USA, i will be going to India this dec. I want to spread the teachings and love of the flying spaghetti monster. i am sure i can spread the word of FSMism as i feel Hindus will more readily accept him than a christian would do.Come on they believe in so many gods they surely might have place for one more and as time passes they will realise his is the only one. may everyone in this world be touched by his noodly appendages.

    .
You’ll have noticed by now that Pastafarian bashing is based on a delicious mixture of varied humour and deep thinking, tied together by profound disliking of stupidity (but approval of some silliness). It may take a while to get used to that (fundies never do), but once you grasp it, you’ll learn a lot about that strange breed called “humanity”, and you’ll probably contribute to that learning too.

    .
A lot of Pastafarians are mirrors. They reflect other peoples attitudes.
If people are nice to us – then we’re nice to them.
    If not…
    .
    .
One thing is for certain though. The regulars here are the most open-minded, tolerant bunch of tossers I’ve ever had the (mis?)fortune to meet :D Got a few Brights here.
    .
Sure we do a bit of bashing. Often in jest as some of the fundies are Pastafarians having a laugh ( or so I’ve heard). Other times we challenge people’s opinions. Perhaps some of us (again – I include myself) can get a bit over the top. It’s usually warranted.
I’d rather face an electronic flaming than a real one.
    .
Finally – the site’s unmoderated, no power structure. What do you expect?

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
