Live Traffic Map

On the top right corner of the page, you will see a live traffic map that Mark Maunder created. It shows where the last 100 visitors came from. Hold the mouse cursor over a dot, and you can see their exact location. I think it is very cool.

You can get your own live traffic widgets from www.feedjit.com

Thank you very much Mark!

Your widget isn’t smart. It said I’m from Or Yehuda, and I’m actually in Jerusalem. Now it says just Israel, which is less specific, but more accurate, so I guess it’s better. Or Yehuda is about 60 kilometers away from Jerusalem, in case you’ve wondered.

I guessed that much, my home-town isn’t there either. But I guess my server/router/whatever thingie stand either in Amsterdam or in Helmond. But it is nice to see how international this group is.

Some interesting dots showing up. Uruguay, South America, never noticed any posters from there before. And even Iran! Wouldn’t it be a great endorsement if http://www.venganza.org was blocked in Iran? That would be a real sign of Pastafarianism being taken serious.

Pfff… Belgium is so small, I’m thrown from one city to another each time I have a closer look at Feedjit… All this moving makes me feel soo tired…
    .
Oh, and there ARE South-American viewers around: I’ve met some in the chatroom. But there’s still the language barrier. I know of people -in my neighbourhood that is- interested in the IDEA of FSM, but feeling unable to express themselves, even in their native language.

Posting from Bolivia…keeps saying i’m in Lima. You’d think that at 12,000 ft above sea level I’d be closer to the eye in the sky of the internet and they’d get it right. Constantly getting screwed here in the altitude…first FIFA now FSM. 100 different kinds of potatoes and they all taste like dirt. (that last complaint is un-related, but something that’s been troubling me).

Be careful what sort of fruit you eat, otherwise you’ll find yourself being kicked out of that beautiful spot of Eden. And be careful not to step on any snakes with vocal cords by accident.

Eden is a beautiful little township on the NSW coast right near the border its border with Victoria. I used to live there for a while some years back. It has the worlds third deepest natural harbour .
Great place with great people. Big fishing & diving industry….lots of boats :) Shame about the big woodchip mill though.

Ok, looking at that map becomes a bit silly after a while, but I’m a sucker for useless data gathering etc. What is the furthest north and south we’ve seen? I’d love it if some researcher in Antarctica visited the site and we’d get a red dot from that continent that according to the Gospel is completely untouched by His noodly appendages.

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
