embroidery

When we moved into our new house, FSM moved me to create this homage to his beatific powers. All hail the FSM, yar!
-Dawn

I think that’s the best embroidery project I’ve seen. It’s very nice.

Richard Dawkins new TV Series

Richard Dawkins has a new TV series about the rise of superstition and pseudoscience, and you can watch the first episode online here. It’s pretty good.
Also, I would like to note that about 6 months ago I sent professor Dawkins an FSM emblem, and he never wrote back. I can […]

school propaganda

i had a spare class, so i nicked the teacher’s whiteboard marker, with amusing results. naturally, being a catholic school, this was gone within an hour.
-Commodore Angryy

That’s the best white-board FSM illustration I’ve seen. Thank you very much, Commodore.

Bobby this is not right

Dude… Bobby this is not right
as i read some of your articles your merchendise gets you around a job… go to school, get a job, and tell people that this is a lie. For kick and jokes it’s great, but it’s bad that we have people thinking that a flying ball of spaghetti is there […]

bloons

Troy sent me a link to this level in Bloons, a really addicting game where you pop balloons (”bloons”) with arrows. It definitely looks like the FSM. And the level is called named “Noodly Appendage”. So it’s probably not a coincidence.
Here’s the link to the game.

Why sir do you dislike Christians so much

Why sir do you dislike Christians so much that you would create a site willed with such sarcasm and spite? I appologize for all the “Christians” who have found their way onto your hate mail section of your page. Thier actions are not representations of Christ-like living. I mainly just want to […]

Live Traffic Map

On the top right corner of the page, you will see a live traffic map that Mark Maunder created. It shows where the last 100 visitors came from. Hold the mouse cursor over a dot, and you can see their exact location. I think it is very cool.
You can get your […]

Best FSM Cake I’ve seen

Shasta writes:
Yarr!
My friend Becky recently celebrated a birthday, so as a fellow Pastafarian i decided to make her a Flying Spaghetti Monster cake. I thought you might enjoy it, so here’s a slightly fuzzy picture!
It’s a 3 layer half round chocolate cake, with buttercream filling. It’s covered in fondant, and there are two […]

Greetings From Idiot America

Here’s another good article. Esquire takes a look at the Creation Museum in Kentucky. I’ve always wanted to go there. Someday I will make it.
From the Creation Museum website: The Creation Museum presents a “walk through history.” Designed by a former Universal Studios exhibit director, this state-of-the-art 60,000 square foot museum brings the […]

Netherlands press

Scott from the Netherlands writes:

I was amused today when I sat down in the train and the man opposite me was reading one of the popular free daily-papers intended for commuters — on the cover was an article about “God” and lo, the picture they used was His Noodly Appendage himself!
The title of the article […]

Religion beat became a test of faith

I just read this article in The Los Angeles Times. A religion columnist for the Times questions his faith after the stories he covered deeply affected him: ex-Mormans ostracized by their friends and family for leaving the Church, the Catholic Church molestation and cover-up scandal, exploitation of the desperate by TV evangelists, etc.
Part […]

Creationist appointed head of Texas State Board of Education

The Dallas Morning News reports that Texas Governor Rick Perry has appointed a creationist to head the Texas State Board of Education. Dr. McLeroy has been a member of the board for 8 years and has consistently voted with the other social conservatives on issues such as textbook section.
Many in Texas are worried by […]

Netherlands FSM procession

I received this email from Mark Van den Borre. I think this is exactly what the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is about. I am pleased beyond words that our religion has spread all around the world. -bobby

Yesterday, a friend and I did a tiny procession in front of the Evangelische […]

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
