I find this sad

I find this sad. And this is coming from a 14 year old girl that has been raised as a Christian. This is stupid. If you wanted to attract attention then do something else. But make up a religion and trying to find information to back it up is just sad. I wonder how you even thought about such thing. Was you bored in your room or something? I wonder how your parents think about this. And honestly why would you want kids or young adults to learn about such thing? Do you want to brain wash them or something with your made up theory? Seriously, just drop the whole thing & find something else to do.

Good day, anonymous

    @Ramses:
I never said either brainwashes. Second, are you scared to challenge someone who’s finally staying to argue, or were you hoping I was a “hit and run’, as it were called.

Ok Adam, apologise for misreading your quites.I must say that you are a bit of an asshat to point out definitions, but hey, that’s your stupid choice. However, i think you’ve evaded my question. You talked about the adulterer, whilst i was asking about why Jesus would want someone who has no sin, to throw things at people.

I meant, i* apologise for meisreading, not you.

@Adam “In your heart, what makes you say that Christianity is silly. Please explain why, in detail, before you ask me to explain why the FSM is silly. Thank you.”
Sorry, I have a sense of humour, so when people start talking about this god chappy who has done all these amazing things, created the world, is perfect in every way, and loves us all , but is also quite jealous, spitefull, and deciedes that the only way he can save mankind is to get some bird from Bethlehem in the pudding club. Well, quite frankly its a bit of a hoot! lol.
Also stuff like asking Abraham to put his son to death, but then stopping him last minuet as it “Was only a test” and he wanted to see how much Abraham loved him. Well, in that case God can’t be omnipotent or he would know how much Abraham loved him without his “little prank” and it also makes him sound very insecure. Strange for a God don’t you think?

There is a lot of what JC said I quite agree with. Being kind to others. Not judging people (not very popular with his followers) giving wealth to the poor (again, not very popular with his followers)
Some of the commandments seem quite well thought out I admit. Believe me I will never covet my neighbours wife, or my neighbours ass. But I do quite covet my neighbours wifes ass. I wonder where God stands on this? Does one sin cancel the other out, or is it a double whammy?

Much of the good stuff JC said simply comes from far older traditions that were later wiped out by , yep, the christians. And for some reason many people seem to think that if you agree with some quotes and a few choice facts, you agree with the whole package. Sorry, doesn’t work that way.

Jericho did exist, but that does not mean I believe the story of Joshua being such a horrible musician even the walls couldn’t stand it.
    *
I agree with the you shall not kill. Pitty many christians only think that refers to them and not for instance muslims.
    *
So just because there are a few facts in the bible, about as many as in the Iliad, doesn’t mean I will then immediatly believe the rest as well.

Another funny little thing: why are so many so-called pro-lifers also pro-death penalty?? Only by mixing in religion could that ever make sense. (sort off)

Anyone else stop reading after “And this is coming from a 14 year old girl that has been raised as a Christian.”?

If you don’t wan to attract attention, too bad. You sound hawt. I think we could make a really good couple together me being 14 and all. When we have children, which faith would they be of?

  15. 475 Bobert Jan 9th, 2008 at 7:27 am

Was you? come on spell right!! Oh and by the way we aren’t the ones who have been brain-washed. You should try listening to yourself sometime. You sound like the rest of the BRAIN-WASHED r-tards who post crap on this site. I don’t go to your religions website and tell you you’re going to hell. Stop doing that to us!!

Your first mistake was being born a Christian. You poor, poor child…
Additionally, “how has anyone thought of this”? Why not think of this? I mean really, how can you be so certain of yourself and your religion and yet bash our Noodly Holiness? Sounds to me like you have never questioned your belief and blindly accepted the irrational teachings of your church. Do you realize that that pastor that you listen to every Sunday morning is no smarter than the cooks at Olive Garden who make spaghetti?

p.s. I hope I’m not insulting any cooks

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
