I find this sad

I find this sad. And this is coming from a 14 year old girl that has been raised as a Christian. This is stupid. If you wanted to attract attention then do something else. But make up a religion and trying to find information to back it up is just sad. I wonder how you even thought about such thing. Was you bored in your room or something? I wonder how your parents think about this. And honestly why would you want kids or young adults to learn about such thing? Do you want to brain wash them or something with your made up theory? Seriously, just drop the whole thing & find something else to do.

Good day, anonymous

I think you’re all very cruel! Microsoft is a wonderful, philosophical ideal.

OK - so the programmes are bloated shit - but I bet Bill’s nice to his mummy!

I know too little of computers or soft for that. I only use Microsoft related stuff, because it’s everywhere, and compatible and all.

But I DO use Firefox! Aha!

Where are the days of my Atari… 2M work RAM at a time when that was impossibles for PC users… No separate DOS: all in the basic chip! Windows before Windows…

JB - same here - I’d go Linux if I could be bothered. That’s the problem with Microsoft! It appeals to the lazy ones ( that’s not just me neither!)

Now you’re being silly! Surely he’d pay someone to do it for him?

There are religions much older than Christianity that have gods just as bizarre as Him (may we all be touched by his Noodly Apppendage). Snake-headed, twenty-armed, fire-breathing dieties were around before Yahweh was ever dreamed of. Is hate mail sent to them? They could have been discovered by single person, just as He was. In some parallel world, the existence of a Flying Spaghetti Monster could be widely accepted and Christianity could be considered ridiculous. It’s all a matter of perspective. I respect people of different faiths and devoutly wish that the same courtesy was extended to Pastafarians, Frisbeetarians, followers of the Invisible Pink Unicorn, and all those who worship modern, independently discovered gods as well as to those who follow mainstream religions.

Thing is that as for all fundamentalists, the whole idea is that their belief is the only right one and the only one that deserves to exist! FSM lacks that devotion and the ruthlessness to force itself on a non-believing majority. Its sad yet positive at the same time!

Question to all Christians, simple but justified:
Why is HE a HE anyways? Why don’t we all look alike since God created us after himself?

I guess it’s time for me to turn of my logical thinking.

    Argggh….I love Pasta.

Many of our vital parts resemble Pasta….think DNA/RNA, intestines and brain just for starters. Very telling I think.

That is so correct, all of us resemble the FSM a lot closer than any sky fairy. DNA was touched by his noodley appendages! Only one more get up and it is Holy Friday and vacation time!!!

I agree, it really is to bad all of those IDiots are doing it.
Why do we want people to learn about this? Probably the same reason the fundies want people to learn about their religion in the science classroom.

All faiths have a common goal. Structure, conformity and a purpose. The structure gives you an acceptable guide to morals, standards and a respectable way of life. Conforming to the structure bonds you to others of the same believe, giving hope and ensures that you will never stand alone. This all leading to a purpose. Helping others, saving your self, your soul or whatever you believe in. Take that away and all social structures and morality will decay and collapse.

I’m from a part of the world where children are butchered and dismembered and there body parts used as medicine or for potions. Where in some parts it is still believed that if you kill your enemy and eat his heart before his blood runs cold, you will inherit his bravery, skills and knowledge. Where hole villages and towns men, woman and children are ruthlessly slathered without mercy because of there ethnicity.

Yes, this world exists and the rest of the world simply turns a blind eye. From the northern parts Africa right down to southern parts of Africa. In some regions, this is reality. When a man puts an AK 47 against you head and you can see in his eyes he just wants to pull the trigger. You don’t know his name and he doesn’t know yours but you know that he will pull the trigger because some corrupt warlord or politician said so. This is when you start praying. This is when you know who or what you believe in.

I hope you realize and appreciate how truly privileged you are for the lives you’ve been granted and I hope and pray that you known who or what you believe in for if you don’t believe, you are truly lost. But take heart, it is never too late.

In GOD our savior we trust.

Everything about god and morality you just said is flawed. i pity you for the country you have to live in, but even more i pity you for your ignorance.

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
