I guess it is really stupid, to believe in His Holiness the FSM.
It is way more intelligent to believe in a god that comes down at night to impregnate a sleeping virgin with holy sperm that unites to a virgin ovule that methastasizes into the sperm donor himself. Only he is not born as himself but as his son, but do talks to himself, only addressing himself as father and answers from above to himself, but talking to “sonny”. Also at the same time there is a bird flying around, who happens to be themselves, or himself (I am starting to get messed up here) spreading their/ its spirit.
It is also more intelligent to believe in heaven, hell and limbo (sorry, limbo got abolished recently, I was so glad to hear that, suffering as I was for all those unbaptised babies floating around in limbo, or doing the limbo rock in limbo, or whatever it is that unbaptised dead babies do).
Sorry, no, I have been touched by the heavenly appendage and love my pasta spicy.

This is a refreshing and hilarious look at what constitutes a religion.

The bible is only one source of information.
When you write a paper, you are usually required at least three sources of information. If this were required in earlier times, people would realize that the bible is only one book out of many. How can they be sure that it is true? THEY CANT; they are simply told to believe and pass it down throughout the generations

I really do not think that it science and belief in higher powers are mutually exclusive. I just look at it as science is working out the rules set by the gods.

I mean quantum theory has no way to predict electron tunneling, but it happens. Sorry too much chemistry in college.

Erm. Time for the physicist to step up and defend QM. QM does indeed have an equation that predicts the likelihood of tunneling taking place, based on the incident electron energy, barrier energy and thickness.
Of course it could just be the FSM making me think we have an equation…

So let’s put this in an order that we all can understand…
1. Hell is the complete absence of God’s presence and Love.
2. Athiests who do not believe in the (Christian)God will go to hell for eternity.
3. An athiest wouldn’t necessarily care about being in this hell because they didn’t believe in God to begin with.
4. Since FSM is the Creator of everything including Christianity…then it sounds like Christians owe a debt of gratitude towards FSM, because without FSM, Christianity would not exist and you would not be able to blindly follow anything…

It’s actually quite funny to think that in hundreds of years after we are all long gone that some people might find this information and (just like the dead sea scrolls) use the info as the basis of the one true god. and it must be true because someone wrote it down!! hahahahahahahahahaaha
people can be really funny sometimes :) to be honest i think some people just need something to believe in. it gives them comfort (which is fair enough) but they shouldnt be teaching all the children in schools that a mysterious being blinked us into existance because someone decided to write a story many many years ago. why not just teach the kids to be good and honest? that might help the world a little bit more than the idea of ID
