This is a free service for Pastafarians:
Register your laptop here. You’ll be given a unique “home page” address for your internet browser. When you connect to the internet, your IP address will be recorded, and then you’ll be redirected to google.
In the event that your laptop is stolen, report it to the police, and then email me. If the thief connects to the internet, we’ll have their approximate location, and their current Internet Service Provider. There’s a decent chance of getting your laptop back.
It’s still in experimental stage but it’s fully functional. I wish I made this a couple weeks ago (before my laptop was stolen).

Alchemist, I’ve been losing most of my posts, too. One thing that worked, although quite annoying, is to put periods or underlines (or anything) between your words INSTEAD of spaces. Then the posts come through fine. For some reason Bobby’s server is misinterpreting “spaces” on occasion! I’m not a guru but I had one explain this to me and it worked perfectly when I tried it.

What I’ve done is copy the wizard of oz without sound onto a dvd and then over dubbed pink floyd’s dark side of the moon on to the dvd in place of the original audio track. So you don’t have to bother sincronizing them, its already done. That way if you want to stop the movie in the middle or re-see a scene, it’s not real complicated. Anyway, I can duplicate the dvd and send you one.

Bill – yes there is. Click on the options tab to the bottom right (I think) of the vid – that should bring up an option to download it.
I’m not sure if you need to register for that – not a big deal if you do – simple email, pwd and name.
(Although my playback froze after twenty mins. I’m guessing it was my ISP – they have a habit of being crap! )
