In the clouds

I must admit I was a skeptic….

UNTIL——

this afternoon when I picked up some photos I had shot of a thunderstorm over Lake Superior two nights ago. This is one of the photos I took of the storm—I did NOT see this image of The Flying Spaghetti Monster until AFTER the film was developed at Wal-Mart! I SWEAR!!!

Praise Be To The AllMeaty!

It must be working…as I look outside my windows I can see the white stuff falling to the ground. As I watch the flakes are getting bigger and bigger. Okay, enough now, after all it is summer and the winter has been long. Oh FSM, warm noodleyness of the world, please hear my plea and make it snow somewhere else, perhaps over the Vatican or Mecca. R’Amen

Hmmm. It appears that whoever took this picture did make one mistake. He/she should not have developed the film at Wal-mart. Perhaps His image is a sign telling you not to shop at Wal-mart.

Threads of B.L.R.? Hmmm… I’ve been to months of therapy and several sessions of transcendental meditation, and I still don’t know what, in the name of all that is good, B.L.R. was trying to say. I don’t know if I can go back there… My therapist assures me that it is alright to look into the past, but maybe the B.L.R. part should stay buried.

Just out of interest. Is marihuana in pastafarism sacred just like in rastafarian beliefs? Or better yet. Could I claim it to be sacred, for I am a pirate?

To Whacky William the Bookaneer… my understanding is that whatever we Pastafarians want to do is sacred. And if we don’t want to do it, that’s sacred, too. I think you could certainly claim the sweetleaf to be sacred. That’s my humble opinion as a devout worshipper of the FSM.

Aloha..”shanties”? my ESL professor told us pirates sang “chanties”..lived in “shanties”..&, from reading several threads here..rarely wear “panties”..(the exalted Red Thong Wench/Mistress of the Y-zone is a blessed exception…also obviously “hawt”..)..my family in the “bad old daze” very much enjoyed visits from DU sailors..all that Vegemite acted as a meat tenderizer..”no go poke wit’ fork..buggahs ready fo’da plate lunch direc’ from da imu..”..i hasten to add that was before we all got religion & ESL certificates..(& SPAM..)..may we all be TBHNA..

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
