In the clouds

I must admit I was a skeptic….

UNTIL——

this afternoon when I picked up some photos I had shot of a thunderstorm over Lake Superior two nights ago. This is one of the photos I took of the storm—I did NOT see this image of The Flying Spaghetti Monster until AFTER the film was developed at Wal-Mart! I SWEAR!!!

Praise Be To The AllMeaty!

    @Stereotypical Environmentalist…
    For them is little point but to make themselves look stupid. We get a laugh out of it.

    The Xians are laughing at this clear an unequivocal message from the FSM, their own claim God communicates through the weather:

    How sad is that. Did you know that Anglican bishops still have a vote in the House of Lords in the UK.

    I don’t know if you were already around when I last put up some petitions to the PMs office. One about bisshops you may want to sign is at

    If you want to make your voice hear more strongly there is a site that lists atheist petitions:

    Many a time, when I was driving home, I have seen the FSM protecting my car and others. I just never had a camera to prove it.

    “There was NO edit!! Have faith my child and you will be touched by His Noodly Appendage. You don’t want to spend eternity drinking flat Beer in the company of diseased Strippers now do you? All you need is a little faith and to open yourself up to feel embrace of His Noodly Appendage.
    RAmen”

    No, I don’t want to spend eternity drinking beer at all, alcoholism is a sin and so is stripping…

    PLEASE don’t tell me you guys ACTUALLY believe this shit…

    Hello again “what the..”
    .
    It’s all about faith my child :) Same type of faith the xtians use. I mean they have faith of/in a hairy man sitting on a big throne in the sky surrouded by flying babies with harps? Then there was that talking snake? A woman made from a mans rib?? Wouldn’t mind being able to pull the water into wine stunt off though. Be a hit party trick that one .:))
    .
    Have faith! Have faith and you too will feel the enlightening warmth of His Noodly Appendage. Once you have, you will never look back and never question the talented powers of Our Noodly Creator ever again.

    There are also vocanoes spurting other varieties of alcoholic beverages, as well as non-alcohlic thirst quenchers :)) Whatever your heart desires :) It is a heaven after all!!
    .
    “alcoholism is a sin and so is stripping…’”
    .
    Says you! No such thing as alcoholism in the Heaven of our Noodly Master anyway! That’s an earthly condition!! Stripping is a sin? Wow your clothes must get really smelly huh?

    Ramen for your posts to what…the…heck. Well spoken.

    And has anyone found a cure for HDD yet?

  16. 76 Alchemist Jul 7th, 2007 at 4:05 am

    @ WTH. Alcoholism a sin? Not a disease? I suppose it depends upon your denomination. I’ve known a few Catlic’s who like more than the odd cask of whisky. Likewise some atheists who resist the demon drink entirely.
    .
    I suppose if you’re an evangelical you could just cast out the demon of addiction. Telling people they are demon possessed is always agood ice breaker at parties!
    .
    “Phwooar, look at the demons in him/her!”

    Sigh, afraid not. I’ll keep on looking though :) You never know, I might find something! Nobelprize, here I come :))

    @Allchemist
    “Likewise some atheists who resist the demon drink entirely.”
    Me being one example. Although I don’t avoid it because I see it as ‘the demon drink’.
    @RDPW
    Good luck with that. It would be a prize well deserved if you pull it off.

    “…resist the demon drink entirely.”
    .
    Ya! Possibly not the best choice of phrase for here. Just that I have a feeling WTH isn’t unknown to me :)

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
