Not in New Mexico! It’s been hotter! Guess it’s my sole duty to convert the state so that the temperature goes down!

That is an awesome flag those rafting people have…
I used to have one, but the Silverfish got it and eated it. :(

    On a completely different note….

I have the links to a comic that mentions His Noodlyness.
Please note, I am not clever enough to make this comic, so this comic is not mine.

    Hello people,
    .
(disclaimer: off-topic, but of potential interest to Pastafarians)
Word of the FSM is spreading. Someone (not me) brought it up on the BBC blog, see
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/ni/2007/06/belfasts_biblical_flood_1.html
How about a few of you commenting there and bringing over some souls to Pastafarianism? Some must be ripe for converting if they’re bringing it up themselves. And it’s always nice to hear a Pastafarian voice over there on that religiously oriented blog. Pastafarians were helpful in getting Dawkins elected man of the year in the election on that blog last year. The time is right for another short visit. Spread the word of His noodly glory!

  17. 17 Wench Nikkiee Jun 25th, 2007 at 4:27 am

Ahhh…the BBC and dear old pb. Is he still there?
I’d love to go over and say hi to him. He’s really is so much fun. :))

I believe it has done the trick…as I look outside my windows I see the white stuff falling and turning into bigger and bigger flakes as the day wears on! The end to Global Warming, the Pirates must have convinced the FSM to cool down the sun just a tad. R’Amen

yeh and if you capsize more than twice. darn. i need to but a boat even if it’s a conoe or kayak. I got the perfect jolly roger flag for one but i don’t got a boat ):

gosh here in fredricksburg it’s burning up and i know why. Because i am the only TRUE pastafarian for miles. stupid virgina. full of pasta haters.

  23. 23 Wench Beth Jun 27th, 2007 at 4:14 pm

I hear you, Gaara the Pirate. I’m the only Pastafarian in New Mexico, as far as I know, and it was 105 F here yesterday. But I guess if I *wasn’t* here, the temperature would be much higher, so… :)

  24. 24 Steriotypical Evironmentalist... Jun 27th, 2007 at 5:00 pm

I don’t think increasing the number of Pastafarians does anything. I thought it was the number of pirates. I think it’s probably so warm because of the distance of those places from the pirates.

  25. 25 Wench Beth Jun 27th, 2007 at 11:29 pm

I’m a pirate, too, Steriotypical Evironmentalist, but only one of me in the whole state isn’t making much difference. But still I plunder and pillage on!

  26. 26 A. Pirate Jun 28th, 2007 at 4:41 am

    Dear Bobby,

What’s the deal with those pirates over at your forum? They are the most feisty, funny, naughty blaggards this side of the Beer Volcano.

  27. 27 Gaara the Pirate Jun 28th, 2007 at 6:41 am

@Steriotypical Enviromentalist - pastafarians = pirates as long as we act like them.

  28. 28 Wench Beth Jun 28th, 2007 at 8:50 am

To Steriotypical Evironmentalist… I’m just curious, is there a meaning to the “different” spelling of your name, or do you really mean to spell it “Stereotypical Environmentalist”?

  29. 29 Kristi Jun 29th, 2007 at 5:42 am

    You have been tagged!

We have to post these rules before we give you the facts.
    - Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
    - People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
    - At the end of your blog post, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
    - Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

  30. 30 Gaara the Pirate Jun 29th, 2007 at 7:48 am

(i’ve been singing this shanty everywhere but I love this song!!)

Sixteen men on a dead man’s cheast,
Ah yo ho yo ho and a bottle of rum,
Drink and the devil, take it down, with the rest,
Ah yo ho yo ho and a bottle of rum.

Hahahaha (drains the rest of the bottle)

  31. 31 Lord of the Pirate Fish Jun 29th, 2007 at 11:58 am

Does anyone know when Bobby Henderson’s Pirate ship will finsh completion?

  32. 32 Wench Beth Jun 29th, 2007 at 12:05 pm

To Lord of the Pirate Fish… Prophet Bobby is not building a pirate ship. He’s not even buying one. It’s up to us Pastafarians to do it ourselves! But we already have a crew — that’s the most important thing!

  33. 33 Lord of the Pirate Fish Jun 29th, 2007 at 12:19 pm

no it’s not. crew = 3rd on prioty list of WWAPD? we need grog! Rum, beer, whatever you want to call it! then we need to each have a parrot or something. then we need the crew. then you get the ship. then a wench! or pirate! wichever one you want.

  34. 34 Wench Beth Jun 29th, 2007 at 12:25 pm

You’re right, Lord of the Pirate Fish. My humblest apologies. I got my priorities mixed up. Rum, parrot, crew, ship, wench/pirate… ok, now I’ve got it straight :)

Mr. Henderson… what were you smoking when you came up with this absolute crap?
I THOUGHT I had seen the most retarded crap on the face of this planet… and then I clicked a link to this sight.
Have fun burning in Hell retards.

    I missed the burn-in-hell types.

  37. 37 Iron John Flynn Jul 1st, 2007 at 4:47 am

Ah yes! It’s that old “Head Up Own Anus” syndrome again. Poor dear. HUOA is Quiote a common cause of HDD and is most often witnessed in combination with severe delusion and myopia.
    A very sad condition indeed.

Definitly a serious case of HDD. Though made ME smile with his “thought I’d seen the most retarded crap on this planet”. I immediatly thought he must mean the other faiths of course, including apparantly his own :)

Oh, no fair! What was the site? Can’t tempt me like that and then not tell me what the second most retarded crap on the face of the planet is.
    .
Is it a web site? A book maybe? Perhaps full of rape and murder, incest, torture, giants, sea monsters and zombies?
    .
Not that retarded? Westboro’ baptist church?

“I’m diagnosing HDD here, though I’m more than open to a second opinion.”
    .
I concur. Definately HDD, probably in an incureable stage.

  41. 41 Lord of the Pirate Fish Jul 1st, 2007 at 9:09 am

@DPG- this one’s a born again christion with a severe case of Dogma and HDD combined.

  42. 42 Stereotypical Environmentalist... Jul 1st, 2007 at 12:24 pm

Wench Beth, I know that this response is a bit late, but no, there was no special meaning to that spelling, unless by special meaning you mean misspelling and typo. In that case, yes, there was special meaning to my name.
To what…the…heck: Have fun burning along side us according to the Christian saying, which I can see will have much use in fenging off many like you, “Love thy neighbor”.

  43. 43 Red DutchPasta Wench Jul 2nd, 2007 at 12:21 am

    @DPG,
It is so sad when they get to us too late, if only they would come sooner :(

  44. 44 DutchPastaGuy Jul 2nd, 2007 at 12:53 am

    @RDPW
“It is so sad when they get to us too late, if only they would come sooner :(”
True. On the other hand, their loss is our gain. The incureable HDD’ers won’t be having any fun ever, but they sure give us a roaring good laugh:)

  45. 45 Red DutchPasta Wench Jul 2nd, 2007 at 1:59 am

Hi everyone, I’m going to a huge 4th of July party tomorrow, lots of people going to be there. I wish I had $50.. or so dollars, to print up FSM fliers. But I just don’t.:( Stupid paper and ink cost money. Could anybody send me a few bucks? Any money you give me, will go towards paper and ink, for fliers. Thank you. My addy is cpthook5833[at]hotmail[dot]com. Thanks to all Pastafarians.

  49. 49 Allison Jul 6th, 2007 at 3:20 pm

While at a summer camp for free-thinkers, I had the opportunity to go canoeing with all of the other campers.
Though we did not have the typical pirate “gear”, so to speak, we were pirates at heart.
So there we were; Nearly sixty believers, canoeing three miles down the Little Miami River.
Sure enough, the temperature dropped drastically after the next few days.
But, the cool weather did not last.
I assume it was because we were lazy and only took the shorter route, when we could’ve gone twice as far.
Still, we did make some progress on the fight against global warming.

    Hi Allison :))
That camp really sounds so cool (’scuse pun :). I’ve heard about these camps. Sad about all those opther kids who are forced to go to jesus camp and have their brains washed though. :(( Still good to hear of some balance creeping back in.
You and your fellow campers have been especially blessed by His Noodlyness. :)

Although I still am not entirely sure about the religious beliefs of your people, I must admit the evidence is stunning and so I whole-heartedly support your quest to end global warming.

  54. 54 One-eyed Wonderkin Jul 18th, 2007 at 9:05 am

@Rhonda - wonderful accepting attitude you have.
    .
If you want to worship cucumbers have at it.
    .
Lunacy is the basis of society. Just look at the US government. They supposedly run the world? give me piracy any day.

    @physics wench
most of the trouble should be over now that we’re back to the old spam filter. You may still get a message saying ‘your post is awaiting moderation’ if you include a whole bunch of links in it. But otherwise you should be fine.

    And welcome back to CoFSM.

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did.
