Petroglyphs

Looking at an old photo I took of the petroglyphs at Newspaper Rock, I was shocked to find a depiction of FSM! See upper left.

    Scandal! Someone (the fundies) has painted over the FSM.
    If you look carefully you can see where they’ve done it.
    That’s censorship and religious discrimination!
    Outrage! Scandal!
    The man in the bottom right of the second picture is clearly wearing a false beard.
    It was him!

    yeh does some 20 cents ramen that was found in the garbage at them. they’ll learn that way.

    i think the u.s. grocery store UKROPS is pastafarian freidly even though they aren’t pastafarians themselves. i mean that because i saw ramen on sale for 14 cents!! not convinced? pack of spaghetti for $1 !! Mac and cheese for $1.50 !!

    Coffressi, I agree. Let’s remove all of the pictures except His Noodliness. He will stand out better that way.

    your concepts but i ask you is there anything wrong with belivin in jesus
    I mean i believe in him and still respect other religions is anything wrong with that

    This I swear is not hate mail

  18. 38 Dan(da haole guy) Jul 10th, 2007 at 9:37 pm

    Aloha, LMC..welcome & there is nothing wrong in believing in Jesus (or FSM or IPU..) & respecting others’ belief systems..in fact, i’d say it’s a sign of maturity on your part (which has nothing to do with chronological age..)..&, no way could your comments be construed as hate mail…1) you’re polite..2) no mention of eternal unpleasantness in your post…oh yeah, my comments in no way speak for anyone but me (just in case you get the idea we’re all shiny, happy, warm’n'fuzzy folks….cuz we ARE pirates, arrrrfter all..)

    @Dan
    The Invisible Pink Unicorn is nothing in comparison to the Great Flying Spaghetti Monster,
    In fact, She is little but another fake deity to distract you from the true faith.
    Let all those who know the true path live a long a prosperous life.
    For his benevolent Majesty shall grant his believers happiness and protection for he is kind and gently yet takes swift vengeance on those who oppose him and his people.
    -
    Hail the Flying Spaghetti Monster,
    let His vengeance be swift.

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
