JollyFish hat

At long last, the jollyfish scarf, which became a jollyfish hat, is finished. I’m giving it to my pal tonight when he comes over for festivities.

When you have recruited your pirate missionaries, you might want to think about organizing a knitathon. Sort of like the knitathons that go on for soldiers when we’re at war. Those pirates will need hats, particularly if they succeed, and the planet cools off again.

That hat will come in very handy as the earth cools down.
The more you wear it the cooler the earth will get and the more you’ll need it.

Ooh, ۞, I like that kind of “catch 22″! But what about pirate bikinis? The more we wear them, the more the earth will cool — and then we’ll get cold! Gotta find a solution to that one!

    you know whats brilliant
pirates need water to thrive as without water pirates are just really cool landlubbers
And so the FSM chose the pirates to control the temperature of the world which controls the sea level also.
    .
soo the FSM made it so when there is a lack of pirates there is an increase in water which makes people realize that it’d bbe amazing fun to be a pirate and cooling down the planet and when there are too many pirates and the world starts freezing the water levels shrink and the seas become overcrowded driving some pirates back to land and warming it up.
    .
    brilliant tempature control system

Have you any grandmothers…older aunts ect. around? :))
They’re usually quite handy for that sort of thing. I’m sure if my Grandmother were still alive she would have been able to work out that pattern. Wouldn’t be too hard for someone familiar with knitting.

Hi Pastafarians. Somehow I missed that this post posted… The pattern (that is, the instructions with the knitting chart) is available for download under “free patterns” at knittingjuju.wordpress.com. Recommend you download the chart, then hang around your local yarn store looking forlorn…. or waving cash around until some knitter takes pity on you…

Some heads just aren’t made for hats: mine isn’t either. Describing what I would look like with this model “couvre-chef” on would look like if I were trying to insult Knittingjuju. Which I’m not planning to do, why should I? Maybe I could download the chart and give it to somebody with a more suitable head…

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
