JollyFish hat

At long last, the jollyfish scarf, which became a jollyfish hat, is finished. I’m giving it to my pal tonight when he comes over for festivities.

When you have recruited your pirate missionaries, you might want to think about organizing a knitathon. Sort of like the knitathons that go on for soldiers when we’re at war. Those pirates will need hats, particularly if they succeed, and the planet cools off again.

That hat is a masterpiece of knitting. I’m with Wench Nikkiee: does anyone know where we can steal… I mean, ask for… the pattern?

That hat will come in very handy as the earth cools down.
The more you wear it the cooler the earth will get and the more you’ll need it.

Ooh, ۞, I like that kind of “catch 22″! But what about pirate bikinis? The more we wear them, the more the earth will cool — and then we’ll get cold! Gotta find a solution to that one!

    you know whats brilliant
pirates need water to thrive as without water pirates are just really cool landlubbers
And so the FSM chose the pirates to control the temperature of the world which controls the sea level also.
    .
soo the FSM made it so when there is a lack of pirates there is an increase in water which makes people realize that it’d bbe amazing fun to be a pirate and cooling down the planet and when there are too many pirates and the world starts freezing the water levels shrink and the seas become overcrowded driving some pirates back to land and warming it up.
    .
    brilliant tempature control system

I don’t think the FSM could have stated it better, thesorgo :)))

i agree, after all, that beer volcano…
and didn`t He create the world when he was drunk?
i seem to remember reading that somewhere in regards to UNintelligent design. RAmen

Oh, i’d love to have a hat like that! Unfortunatly I have no talent whatsoever for making things like that :( But it’s gorgeous.

To Red Dutch Pasta Wench… if a pattern exists and I can get a hold of it, I’ll be knitting all the Disciples hats! I’ll put you at the top of the list!

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
